Returning product, playback issues

However, I have had difficulties with this machine. The viewing ratio is off, and you can't watch movies with subtitles because they appear below the bottom of the screen. There are frequent glitches while viewing with small squares of blank screen. Also, the images appear dark, even with the brightness etc. adjusted and the colors seem muted.
