That is the way additional memory is suppose to be, plug in and for get its there except when you want to add something on it.

Using it for the phone

The other one I bought earlier was from a brand (which starts with a letter T) and was supposed to be good according to the reviews but it died in six months in a dash cam.

This one has performed very well compared to those and I haven't had any more of the same issues.

It is fast enough for ripped video and music. I have used it in both a slot and in a USB carrier. It will not explode.

Didn't realize how great it is to have until now - I take so many photos and never worry about having room to store them on my phone. It was a small price to pay for such convenience!
