It goes off and on easily with the new mechanism, and pulls in the watch for a snug fit, to enable all the health monitoring. I got the watch as part of a promotion for free.

I just wish they had a plastic equivalent so it's easier to wipe off. Extremely easy to switch bands on the new Samsung Watch 6.

That being said, it tends to stretch out over time to where I can not fasten it properly. At the price point, I have only purchased it when it is on sale.
