Works and looks great for what I bought it for. I work as a teacher and we are starting online and love that the Chromebook integrates everything I need for school.

I have been in the market for a laptop for a while. One day I came across this Samsung Chromebook Red and that was it. I must say it's one of the best investment s ever. I would highly recommend it.

This is probably the most painful review I've had to write. This laptop is by far the sexiest, most stunning piece of hardware ever, bar none and I've owned many a sexy laptops. However, the elegance and specs are completely wasted on the absolute garbage chrome OS. But because this is the exclusive OS of the device, we have no choice but to review the OS in congjunction with the hardware itself. Let me be clear; Chrome OS is the worst OS I have used ever by a long shot. Simple things, such as opening up a file from drive using an office app, is IMPOSSIBLE without a convulted work-around that involves saving copies to allow for editing. This isn't a bug, mind you, but by desing in an effort to block users from using the industry standard MS Office apps, forcing us to use the subpar Google Office apps. Chrome OS also lacks desktop apps and offer "Progressive Web Apps." While PWA are better than Play Store apps, they are still not fully featured OS apps and typically lack basic functionality. Take for example the Zoom App (which we all rely on during these dark times), there is no way to schedule a future meeting through the PWA. Or take, for example, Google'$ own Keep, which lands you on a warning notification that a PWA will no longer be available in the near future. The file manager app is laugable. You cannot move items from one folder to another WITHOUT having to open two separate windows, pinning them side by side and dragging in it. Equally frustrating is that to get about 75% of the functionality of a full desktop app, you will need to use 2 to 3 different versons/platforms of each application (the PlayStore app, the PWA and the web version through chrome), because each version has functions that the others lack; no one version has everything you would need to get the job done. I think by far the most disturbing issue, however, is that there seems to be absolutely no impetus whatsoever to address these basic functionality issues. I've gone through many many chrome os help threads and most seem to be closed by moderators without addressing the issue. Chrome OS touts an update every 3 weeks, but what good are those updates if they dont add any meaningful usefulness to the OS. My sugestion: Unless you are a k-12 student that doesnt MS Office, DO NOT buy a chromebook at this time. Which is a real shame, because this laptop is nothing short of stunning.

Fast, moderate battery life (not as bad as reviews on Chrome OS 89), and really nice physical feel to the device. The pen is nice, but less useful than I hoped because of limited software options. I'd hoped to run Krita but the combination of the 4K screen with a weaker GPU and emulation, it was too slow to offer fast drawing even with just a couple small layers. My main problem is the screen is either defective or miscalibrated. Black clipping started at 9% grey, dropping detail in almost any kind of image including greys or blacks. This made a lot of video hard to watch whenever a scene was even slightly dark because large sections of the content weren't displayed.

Excellent laptop for younger children, We got this laptop because my daughter was being homeschooled this year and the school district ran out of laptops to give our. This is an amazing chrome notebook

The functionality and ease! Has met all of my needs and more. Starts up within seconds and battery life is good compared to others. Screen resolution is amazing! Have not had a laptop like this ever.

I bought this Samsung after buying a HP Chromebook and Lenovo Chromebook which I'm happily pleased to say "I LOVE IT" even thought it's pricey, it's what I like and love the 4K when watching movies etc.

Sometimes you just have to write a review to get bonus points. With that being said this product actually is awesome and I highly recommend.

Best computer I have ever had. It is perfect for homework, watching movies, drawing, etc. I love the compatibility I have with my phone. It is so convenient having it all linked together.

I rarely make reviews like this, but this has been the best Chromebook I have bought so far. Great for work, school or play. This has been my go to for everything. The quality is amazing!

It is a really nice machine and I enjoyed it while I had it, but so many of them have track pad issues. Within a week my track pad would work for 5 minutes and then bug out. I had to restart and it would happen again within 5 minutes. Before you buy this machine make sure to research the issue. Also, battery life was bad.
