If you're looking at reviews, you're likely already trying to convince yourself to look past the battery issues everyone talks about and buy this. Just buy it. This Chromebook is absolutely stunning and probably the best looking machine I've ever used. Insanely thin and light, this thing is a total 'attention getter'. The screen is, of course, the highlight here as well. In regards to the battery, I don't find it to be as bad as many have made out. I don't know if that's due to software updates or how I use my Galaxy Chromebook but I usually reach 6+ hours without issue. Still not all day but definitely not as bad as others have had issues with. There are discussions about trackpad issues that appear later on in life but we'll see if those show up or not. Overall, I love this machine and use this as my primary machine 9 times out of 10. At the sale price of $599 (or open box), I don't hesitate to recommend it if you're looking for a flagship Chromebook experience.

Got this for my daughter for school. Its overpriced but 4k screen great build quality nice color speeds more than enough for a Chromebook comes with an S-pen and has a fingerprint scanner. I find myself using it to watch movies or do get some quick work done. Would have been 5 star if price was lower

Overall, a very nice tablet. I see chrome has problems just like windows, need to reboot sometimes. It is fast, almost instant on, wireless can take a few seconds to connect. It gets hot, maybe an issue if bottom vents are covered. Plays some android games well, screen is very nice compared to a phone.

bought this chromebook for school. light and compact it's great. The color and design is what caught everyone's eye. the battery is laughable though. But for what I'm using it's just fine.

This is an amazingly well built machine. It is a pleasure to the touch, perfect size and weight. Very portable. Bought for my wife as a birthday gift and she absolutely loves it. Caveat: got at a great discount as an open-box item. The power adapter was missing which was NOT described in the condition/missing items disclaimer. Best buy outlet employees were not helpful at all, told me to go buy one...It is not because of the money, as I have a bunch of Macbook and USB-C adapters around the house, but it was disappointing in terms of the customer support received. Will think 3x before getting another open-box item from BB. Anyway, the product is great, screen is amazing and the stylus is not just a gimmick, to my surprise. Definitely the best Chromebook I ever used, although super overpriced at full price. Battery power is also a little disappointing, but I am spoiled by my M1 Mac.

This Chromebook is phenomenal. I love the screen and keyboard. Yes, the battery life is not the best, but I'm okay with that given the screen. Well worth the trade off for me. The device feels premium, and the performance is great. I have no complaints at all. If you are in the Google ecosystem this is worth every penny.

I love the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook! It's almost perfect. The only issue is the battery life, but I can live with that. Like most people, I have chargers in practically every room, at my job, and at my house. But the awesome quality of the 4k display far outweighs the short battery life, in my opinion. Do you have electricity where you live? Then you'll love the new Galaxy Chromebook!

overall this is a great laptop but there are some downslides. first, of all the battery life of the laptop is very short, i read books on it for around 2 hours with the brightness on low and the battery died. second of all the sim card insert place is a little bit wrong because once you put the card in it is hard to take out, it took me a long time to take the card out so i never would put a card in again. enough about the bad things about this laptop here i am going to talk about some of the great things in this laptop. First, the laptop is light weight, the laptop is light weight, easy to flip into a tablet. Second, the tablet is easy to use and you can use the pen on the side of the laptop. Third, the pen is very good because it is in the computer you can stick the pen in the computer so you don't have to carry anything else that is not on the laptop. Overall this laptop is very good and i prefer buying it.

One of the finest stunning 4K screen & fabulous design. easy to use, Super Fast !! only 1 downside : BATTERY LIFE. its lasted too short. Still debating keep it or returning it ?? :< hmnn...i might keeping it. :)

Well what can I say I really wanted to like this device excellent excellent build quality, great screen but the aspect ratio for the doesn't allow for the most viewable experience but I don't mind it that much considering Chromebooks have a limited use in my opinion anyways I will say at the initial price it is too expensive despite its great build quality. I was able to get it on sale plus open box for 650 at that price point I feel it's a pretty good deal. The only downsides are battery life although Samsung's claiming they have a fix for that who knows if and when that will ever happen and you never buy on future promises also it has limited pen support unlike the note and galaxy book flex I didn't see the pen suite? Kind of odd. If you can't be near an outlet I would not suggest it, outside of that on sale I definitely would.

so lightweight, amazing red color, it looks red-orange online, but it is red like the (RED) products. Fast start-up and charge. I usually use it throughout the day, and the battery lasts all day at half brightness. Very easy to navigate. Only downside is chromebook runs with apps, like a phone, so software is limited to application specs. I use spotify a lot and the app does not have all the features as the windows software does.

The build, OLED screen, speed is magical but something has to give, in this case it’s battery life which averages 7-8 hours under my use. Turns out that is plenty for me but many users have complained and there is a rumored firmware update that will improve the battery life, I just hope it doesn’t hurt the performance too much, this thing is awesome if you know what a chrome book is usually like. One star off because the price is up there but...dare I say worth it?

I love my laptop. I had been watching this particular laptop and was so excited to get it during black Friday with $200 off. It is so fast. I love the touchscreen and the ability to use as a tablet. Only two things to criticize would be the first camera is horrible and doesn't look good at all. I don't even use it for my Zoom meeting and instead use my Note for them. The camera on my phone is phenomenal. The second would be the need for Chromecast to mirror to my smart tv. I used to have a Chromecast connected to my TV, but it was always functioning improperly so I returned it. Luckily I can either just watch things on my laptop or mirror from my phone or tablet to my TV. Overall I can work around the two criticisms. Great laptop for the sale price.

This Chromebook is rock solid, super fast, and absolutely flawless in it's quality of build. There are alot of complaints about battery life all over the internet on this model but Samsung has acknowledged the problem and is working on a firmware fix thru chrome OS with Google. With that being said, I'll just say, I haven't experienced any difficulty with battery life or overheating.... I give up way before the battery does. I bought this for day to day use and also reviewing and editing my videos from my dash cam from ride-share driving. It performs without any hiccups at all. Previous Chromebook (also a Samsung) would actually crash and close while accessing the 200 GB memory cards. This Chromebook copies, moves, and plays all of the 3 min video clips effortlessly. 4K screen is simply amazing and video like Netflix looks stunning on here. I DO NOT REGRET this purchase, even with the 1000 dollar price. Highly recommended.

Let me just say that the design and build of this device surpasses EVERYTHING else on the market including everything made by Apple... The features; 4k AMOLED screen, built in stylus and fanatically thin hardware is ONLY taken down by one critical flaw: the battery life is disappointing... We're talking 3 hours in average MAYBE 5 hours max... If that's an okay limitation you'll love this laptop

This is my 10th+ Chromebook. This is by far the best quality. The 4K Ultra HD screen is amazing. The Core i5 processor is very fast and the fingerprint sensor is useful. The Fiesta Red gives this Chromebook a little flair. It is also extremely thin, lite and a pleasure to use. Battery life for my usage has been about 5-6 hours. My Pixelbook Go gets me 7-8 hours and my Samsung V2 got me 8+ hours. However I am always near a port and the pluses greatly outweigh this one "negative" aspect imo.

My daughter is loving this Samsung Chromebook. It has everything she needs to finish her senior year and int college. It's fast, plenty of memory, display, streaming and online school work flawless. It's really light, thin and the eye popping red are great too.

Really well built. Ultra thin and the screen is amazing, no matter how close I got I could not see pixels. Battery life is short but by keeping screen brightness halfway (still plenty bright) bluetooth off when I wasnt using it, I got 6 hrs of use out of it. Touch pad was superb and the keyboard with the back-lighting was great. It really feels like a high end machine - like the my Macbook pro. The only thing I wish for is Thunderbolt ports instead of 3.1 gen2 and 16GB ram and 512GB SSD. It would then be perfect, otherwise a very useful Chromebook for someone who wants security and the ability to run Linux apps. If you wait to get OS 81 and set the flags in Chrome you can specify the user name, set the storage size and get Debian Buster when you enable the Linux feature.

This Samsung Galaxy Chromebook has a beautiful screen with vibrant color production, and its performance is quite sufficient for my usage purposes, The only thing I have identified as needing improvement is the battery discharge rate, given the 4K high-res. screen which consumes battery charge at a higher than typical rate. But overall, I am very satisfied with this Chromebook, and give it a strong endorsement as a substitute for a Windows laptop or Macbook.
