It's a great buy for what I needed. I wanted a tablet, but also a laptop to use my Cricut Design space with. It starts up a bit slow, but once on and running, it's a good speed. The sound isn't the best, but I use my Buds anyway. The touch screen is great and works perfectly with my SPen I already had.

It is a great computer. It has a fair price (not cheap, but it’s totally worth it). It’s extremely fast, turns into a tablet, thin (easy to care, one of my priorities), and beautiful. I’ll use it for the next ten years.

I am capable of running tech down fast becuase of the heavy applications that I use but this laptop has excelled in continuing to function even with Fusion 360 & Visual Studio! One thing I would want to say is if you are running heavy apps like me, might want to watch out for the temperature but other than that, its an amazing laptop with an amazing battery life! It also has an HDMI port, USB A port, headphone jack (3.5mm), MicroSD slot, and one power type C and regular type C port which were a massive upgrade to my last laptop!

Love this device. Works well as my laptop for traveling and the touch screen is very responsive. It's light weight enough to travel but powerful enough to not be laggy. Would purchase again. Even works with my Dell docking station from work!

Nice laptop at a good price. Good value for the dollar. A handsome laptop, the thing with the fingerprints on the cover is a bit annoying (not something that can't be fixed with a cloth)

This is my first Samsung laptop and I've been pleasantly surprised. Taking it out of the box is nothing really special, they've eliminated most of the paper documentation so it's just a matter of taking out the laptop, the charging cord and the charging block. I opened the laptop and... nothing happened. Took me just a little time to realize it was dead. So I plugged it in to charge which was actually fairly fast. One of the things I noticed pretty immediately is that this laptop came with one of Samsung's "super fast" charging blocks that also work on their mobile phones, so that can be an unexpected bonus. If it's charged and off, opening it acts as powering it on. Several pros for the laptop: Its smaller size and light weight. This makes it very portable and easy to use in tablet mode. It has plenty of memory (16GB) for any application. I didn't use it for gaming, but this probably isn't the laptop for that. Serious gamers would want a larger screen, better graphics capability, etc. It boots up extremely fast, by my simple reckoning, it was ready to go in under 30 seconds, including the time for me to login. Programs execute extremely fast with the Intel Evo processor, the ample memory, and the SSD for storage. It comes with Windows 11 pre-installed and ready to go. Speaker sound quality was pretty good, it claims Dolby Atmos in the specs and I can say that they sounded pretty good, but who really uses laptops to fill a room with sound anyway. You would want to have it plugged in to take full advantage of that kind of feature, but that defeats the portability. The fingerprint reader was easy to use and reacted quickly to user input, logging in to the computer quickly. They keyboard is backlit which is great for lowlight environments. Some things I didn't like as much: This is my first smaller laptop so I wasn't used to the keyboard being a bit tighter spaced than a larger laptop, so it'll take getting used to. The power button isn't labelled, is right next to the delete key, and is also the finger print reader. I can see that being accidentally pressed. The PC itself has a limited number of external ports, 2 USB-C, 1 USB-A, 1 HDMI, 1 standard headphone/microphone jack, 1 media card reader. I've found this to be fairly standard and expansion is pretty easy with usb hubs, etc. I was able to charge the PC from either USB-C port, but only one was marked with the thunderbolt logo for charging. If you have other Samsung ecosystem products (phone, tablets) then the PC has built-in apps that integrate those devices (for example, you can automatically extend your display onto the tablet). Overall, this is a great laptop that should meet your needs for years.

A great laptop but with lots of bloatware

The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 13.3” is the follow up to last years Galaxy Book. This time the Galaxy Book2 Pro now sports the 12th gen i7 Evo series chip from Intel. To complement the chip’s performance is the 16GB included RAM in the unit I am reviewing (though I understand there is also an 8GB variant). That said, this is indeed a fast computer putting its own weight (or lack of it) against others in its class especially the computer that has the name of a fruit. This computer’s main appeal aside from power is ultralightweight design (weighing less than 2lbs) reminiscent of the fruit brand’s computer that can fit inside a Manila envelope. But unlike the other brand, this computer is also a two-in-one laptop where you can flip the screen 360 degrees and use it as a tablet. And being a tablet, this computer is touch screen enabled. Plus, this computer can handle styli and also is compatible with Samsung’s S Pens. (As of this writing, I haven’t purchased my own S Pen to use for myself. But a regular stylus works. This screen though only 1080p (which is sufficient for a screen this size) boasts of an AMOLED display which the fruit brand doesn’t have. Needles to say that the video quality is very good. But also, this computer has excellent audio. Though no co-branding is mentioned, the speakers are Atmos enabled. I have tried to listen to its Atmos and indeed audio seems to come from everywhere. And I have read elsewhere it is powered by AKG speakers. The unit I have has a 512GB SSD installed. But I understand this can be purchased with 1TB of storage. But for most users, 512GB would be enough. The ports are minimal but functions. On the left side you have an HDMI port and two USB-C ports with one having charging capabilities. On the other side, you have one USB 3 port, an audio port and a micro SD card reader. A web cam is also included. And battery life is rated at 21 hours. But as per my initial usage, it seems for more like a little less than half. But then again, I may still have to “break-in” the battery. The only thing I do not like about this laptop is the amount of bloatware included. It took me more than an hour to setup this computer due to the amount of bloatware installed. For this I am removing one star. But overall I would recommend this computer.
