worst laptop i’ve ever owned

Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is the worst laptop i’ve ever owned. screen cracked only 2 months after purchasing - didn’t even realize it happened. battery has completely failed. will not charge when plugged in using the charger provided or will just die even when plugged in and charging. constantly overheats or freezes. fails to connect to wifi when connected to a monitor with HDMI cord. literally could go on for ages. for context - i code, manage large datasets, and am using the computer regularly. the person at best buy that sold it to me said it was the best laptop to handle that, but seems like they just wanted it off the floor. DO NOT BUY.

Good specs bad performance

I have to restart it more than I should, if is not plugged to power is a lot slower..

Disappointing

Anyway, best buy had good customer service the laptop was disappointing

Fatal flaw: screen easily crack under normal usage

My Book3 Pro 360 15.6" cracked without drop or bump or stress on the laptop, it just appeared during normal usage handling. The worst thing is that Samsung REFUSES to fix the screen under warranty, claiming 'physical damage' and charging $500 for repair. This is apparently a common problem with these Galaxy book laptops given the flimsy thin screen backing design and manufacturing. Just be aware!

Finger print sensor does not work

While the device does come with the ability enabled, you do also have to set up your fingerprint with the reader similar to the way you do this on a cell phone. Our first step for troubleshooting would also be to remove your fingerprint loaded and then try again to load this data. The Samsung Support Team is also a great resource to help troubleshoot where this difficulty may be stemming from. We appreciate you being a Samsung customer. -Elizabeth

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Neither Samsung nor Best Buy (even as total tech members were any help. This happened TWICE. Save yourself the trouble and dont waste your money. Such a disappointment, poorly designed. Id give it 0 stars if I could.

Had it in 3 times due to the camera not working. Factory replaced the entire screen at one time and it still did not work. Support on line was terrible via Samsung. Best Buy was great. Ended up returning the machine e and bought a Lenovo which I am really enjoying.

Galaxy Book pro is GARBAGE

I have to reboot very often and the screen cracked without any impact it cracked out of nowhere it's very delicate. Do not buy this computer. Also Best buy did nothing for me they told me to go take a hike.

(Purchased for $1300). There are plenty of reports of this happening that you can find in forums. It's clearly a design issue that Samsung won't stand behind. I've purchased tens of thousands of dollars of product from Samsung, and that will now be coming to an end

This is my second one is 4 months and they are horrible. I have bought two hard cases and still I have a crack in this screen. Unbelievable.

Amazing design and looks awesome!

Really impressed with this computer and have a lot of positives to tell readers of this review about. First off, the packaging, design, and thought the designers put in realy make this computer a joy to use. I have to specifically mention that the length of the charging usb c cable is long and simple to use. I am also not normally a user of the 2 in 1 tablet flexibility feature, but they got it right with this product and I have found it simple and a pleasure to swith back and forth between pc and tablet. This has a big screen and it looks modern and sleek and fits in well with multiple monitors being able to use the screem of this computer as a screen vs keeping it closed and docking. The screen is truly vibrant and better than any other laptop I have previously used. I would have expected a short battery life with the amoled display, but that is definitely not the case with this product...it's much better than I expected. The touch feature of the screen is very precise and resists getting dirty from fingerprints very well. I have found myself using this pc for video calls where I would normally use my phone because the designers made it simple and intuitive to deal with the calls. The pc feels and looks high end and I am very impressed with this product in every aspect of its features!
