Noatter the settings in Neither the Wear App nor phone settings allow enough control of sound settings. These cut out and/or reduce sound so badly neither party can hear the conversation well. Returning! Great ear fit though compared to earlier version without wingtips.

The caller also could hear my background more than they could hear me. I returned them to the store.

When the Active Noise Canceling feature is turned on, it will block out noise in the nearby area, so you can be fully immersed in your music. If you ever need to be aware of your surroundings, simply turn off Active noise canceling. ANC will only work when both earbuds are inserted in your ears.
