Gorgeous fast RED Chromebook

I've had it over a year and continue to be amazed by how bright and colorful the display is. The touch screen works well, and the keyboardhas a nice feel.

great tab/laptop combo

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this for the wife as an opened box. it looked brand spankin new and i saved a few bucks. everything about it is great except for the fact that this one doesnt come with the s pen and there is no slot to put an s pen if you bought one separately. if you dont need the s pen, this is right up your alley.

The hardware does not suit my needs. 2 cores is just not enough. The machine is snapy in navigation but falls flat on tasks my tablet cruses through. I also whish the sceen was a bit nicer but it is not terable. The limits in app suport also wore away at me. I hate how developer mode makes yet more apps unaccesable. I am waiting for chrome os and more importantly its hardwar echosystem to bake a little longer in the oven. With better specks or a lower price point i would not be hapy enough to hold on to this chrombook. If you are not someone with amazing vision and a need to use non app store apps then you may find this more palatable. Keep in mind my review is at a pricepoint of 370$. I would never recomend this at full price.

Bought this for my Mom who is in her mid 60s and not tech savvy. She loves it and had no trouble learning to use it after having a non-Chrome laptop previously
