I love the bright, clear screen; the keyboard, and the speed.

Bought aug 2022. Its march 2024 and this thing has blacked out and unusable no matter how many times i tried to reset

I really wanted to like this after getting it on sale but the camera was worse than the one in the store demo (grainy and not what you expect at 720p which is plenty high res for this size screen) and the auto-rotate only works when you turn it clockwise to portrait. It won't work in tent mode or turning the other direction in portrait. I thought I would get used to the keyboard, but it just doesn't have a nice solid feel and I like to feel the keys depress. Everything else mentioned in other reviews seemed to be spot on (except that god-awful orangey-red color - yuck) and it otherwise performed well. It just falls too short of expectations for such an expensive chromebook. This one goes back and I'll look at another brand with better spec's at the same price point.

Computer is great fast and reliable. Great for students.

Did a ton of research, and they had this one on sale (the i3 model). I figured, hey its samsung, they build phones too, so its gotta be good. Meh.. well the screen is decent, not raving like everyone says it is. The sides blow out on the edges with a blue hue. The worst part, the touch screen doesnt work. I spent 45 min searching 'tube, forums, etc. I did the reset, powerwash, the shift search T enable. I made sure the flag was enabled. I put this thing back in the box, and back it goes. Samsung, you failed miserably.

Very light weight and fast. Very powerful and decent price. I purchased this for my daughter who is in 4th grade. It’s a perfect laptop to begin with. She loves it.

The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 features a hybrid laptop/tablet design that is ultra slim, attractive, and a complete pleasure to use. It has more than enough processing power and system memory to easily handle any entertainment or productivity needs. It is an excellent choice for anyone that wants an elegant and powerful laptop that is controlled by the Chrome Operating System. There is a lot to like about this laptop, but the first thing that I want to mention is the QLED screen, which is highly colorful, HD capable, and looks amazing! The bright, beautiful display offers superb picture quality, and is perfect for watching videos and viewing pictures. The QLED display produces noticeably vibrant colors that really make whatever you are looking at on the screen pop. The next thing that really stands out is the sound quality. The laptop speakers produce sound that is exceptionally loud and crystal clear, which is truly remarkable for such a slim laptop. Normally I use headphones with my laptops, but in this case I had no problem hearing anything I played over the laptop speakers. The battery charges fully in about 2 hours, and is rated to last for an impressive 12 hours. After using it for a few days, I have been actually getting close to 13 hours. But your mileage will vary depending on what you are doing. I was using it mostly to watch videos and access the internet. There is a USB C port on both sides of the laptop, so either side can be used to power it. Setup was as simple as turning it on, and then signing on to my Wi-Fi network and Google account. If you already have a Google account then you will have immediate access to your saved Chrome favorites and Google Drive. The 2 in 1 design allows this device to function as a laptop or a tablet. I mostly use the laptop mode, but sometimes use the tablet orientations for watching videos. The keyboard is backlit and well laid out. The keys are well spaced and have a nice feel to them. Likewise the touch screen and touch pad are responsive and both respond well to the touch This laptop is equipped with a wireless adapter that uses the latest Wi-Fi 6 (AX) standard. But in order to get the most benefit from this latest standard, it must be used with a Wi-Fi 6 router. But don’t be concerned if you don’t have a Wi-Fi 6 router yet, because Wi-Fi 6 adapters are backwards compatible with the older wireless standard. The build quality of this laptop is really impressive. It features an aluminum chassis that feels very solid, but lightweight at the same time. If you want a slim and lightweight laptop that offers a long battery life and outstanding video quality, you can’t go wrong by choosing the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2.

The advertised battery life (label on the laptop) says 13 hrs battery life, but for some reason, I'm only getting 3-4 hours. I'm just running 4-5 browser tab applications, email, calendar, etc. I would like to use this chromebook at public locations (e.g. coffee shops) but not if I have to bring an external battery to do my work. Best Buy chat says that I have to bring it in, and schedule an appointment to have it serviced.

I would not recommend buying this. My son just closed the laptop one day and the shell just fell apart and the screen became disconnected. Also, geek squad indicated Samsung would not cover under warranty. I only bought the laptop 5 months ago.

Got it to do android mobile application pen testing. Just finished setting it up. Very nice machine thus far. I’m thus far most impressed by the manufacture quality of the device.

Bought this laptop for my son's first year of college...so far its been great...he loves his laptop...its stylish and functional...very appropriate for the work he has.

After 6 months of use i had 2 keys on the keyboard that stopped functioning . I sent it for repair since the warranty is for 1 year. I received an email back from Samsung support claiming the keyboard had liquid damage and they could repair it at a cost of 542.00 me. I can assure every one reading this that never happen while this keyboard was in my possession This notebook cost a lot of money can should have stood up better expections than it did

This thing is a beast. If you have an Android phone you will enjoy a Chromebook. With kids using it in school, Chromebooks will eventually replace regular desktops at home and maybe eventually at work.
