Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If your Chromebook does not turn on or does not charge properly, it may just be a problem with the wall outlet or the AC adapter. However, it may be necessary to enter recovery mode on your Chromebook. Literally started malfunctioning within a week and within a 3 weeks was going bonkers. Returned it to Samsung for service. They DID NOT fix the chromebook 2. I then contacted them after keeping it for a month and they told me I will get a refund in 1 more MONTH!!!! If anyone buys Samsung they are crazy. My Series 6 Samsung TV quit working for no reason. Now the Chrombook 2 goes the same way and Samsung's post buyer care is horrific! DONT BUY THIS CHROMEBOOK or any Samsung products

So got a third one in a different brand Samsung has always been my go to brand so was disappointed I had to choose a different brand. I would still recommend Samsungs..
