I received this as a gift. It is awesome, excellent quality.

Not so great it’s slow and never holds a charge for very long

Bought open box and had to return. Didn’t work right out of the box, returned it and purchased what I originally had my mind on.

Piece of garbage machine stopped working in less than three months. This are second piece of garbage Chromebook. For the price of a two garbage chrome books because I’ve had a solid Apple or Microsoft computer.

Device does not work and I cant return. This was a gift and it went blank.

Chromebook was a mistake, shoulda gone windows!! Never again.

Worked once. Touch screen never worked right. Now it won't turn on at all even when plugged in. I have an appointment to see geek squad to see if they can fix it.

Inadequate inefficient nonproductive this laptop is difficult to use no power point settings no Microsoft no fingerprint to touch, and no touchscreen effectiveness it has poor speed,

if a student do not buy associates will try to convince you to get it even though most school systems do not support

Disappointed. Have had the chrome book 4 weeks. Have used it very little and it has already been sent back for repair. It won't recharge.

Screen stopped working. Had the protection plan but Best Buy takes estimated 5 weeks to repair. Will never buy a protecrion plan again.

Still waiting more than 2 weeks later. Haven’t been given any updates.

First impression: My first impression of the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 is that it is a very well-made laptop. I have been using laptops for the last 20 years and some are made better than others. This one has a high-quality, solid feel. I also love the fiesta red color. It is bright and stands out. This is a very attractive laptop. Quality. The thing to start with has to be the aluminum chassis. I love the aluminum chassis. It has a very strong feel to it, and I believe it will stand up to standard use very well. As for the occasional drop, the aluminum is more likely to withstand the impact better than if it was plastic. I have dropped plastic laptops and aluminum laptops, and the aluminum body laptops always come out better. The keyboard is a nice keyboard with a good feel to it. The keys are larger keys, much like the keyboard on my MacBook Pro. This is very nice for a 2-finger typist like me. The key response has a nice resistance without being stiff. This Chromebook has well-designed hinges. The hinges are strong, not loose, and holds the screen in place regardless of the angle. When folding the screen back to use it as a tablet, the hinges fold over easily and hold the screen in the tablet position. This is one laptop that I don’t worry about having weak hinges. Performance: The Intel i3 processor does very well with the android operating system. The Chromebook is responsive and runs really fast. Even with a bunch of apps open, I could stream movies on Netflix without any hesitation. The OLED screen is very bright with vibrant colors. This is another aspect of making this Chromebook an ideal laptop for streaming movies. It is enjoyable watching movies with this laptop. The built-in speakers sound remarkably good. I say this because the speakers are bottom-firing speakers with a small grill and no room for decent size speakers. Yet they still sound good. You don’t get audiophile-quality sound, and you’re not going to thump watching movies on a plane, but for such a small speaker on the bottom of the chassis, it sounds much better than I expected. I have no problem with the speakers while streaming movies. The volume adjustment on the left side is a nice feature. I like having a physical volume control, and I like it on the side, so it doesn’t wake up the keyboard or change the screen if I want to change the volume while streaming movies. The knob is solid, easy to manipulate, yet it isn’t sloppy or has excess play. Bumping the button doesn’t change the volume. Samsung did a good job with the touchscreen. It is responsive but not overly sensitive. Some touchscreens are so sensitive that it is irritating to use. I actually thought that would be the case here, but it isn’t. On this Chromebook, I prefer to use the touchscreen over the keyboard/touchpad. On to the touchpad, I don’t care for the touchpad. To me, it is overly stiff when trying to click with it. Tapping the pad for a click is easy, but not always accurate. I understand not wanting the touchpad to be overly sensitive, but I feel like the pad is too stiff for an easy single/double click. The battery life on this Chromebook is amazing. I get over 12 hours of use with less than 2 hours of charging time. And by 12 hours of use, I’m actually referring to use, streaming movies, and searching on the Internet, not sitting aside waiting for me to do something with it. The camera is adequate. It’s not amazing, but it is still good. This is not a deal-breaker for me at all, as I probably won’t ever use the camera. I like that Samsung provided a MicroSD slot. I have MicroSD cards in so many things, such as radio scanners, radios, cameras, drones, R/C controllers, etc. This allows me to easily insert the cards and copy the pictures/videos/data to my file server easily, without needing adapters and hubs. Conclusion: The Samsung Chromebook 2 is a very attractive, powerful, well-made, feature-rich, and easy to use laptop. For me, this Chromebook is mainly used in the bedroom for Internet use, streaming movies, and playing games. But when I travel, this will be with me in addition to my regular laptop. If you want a laptop that is easy to use for educational or entertainment purposes, especially for traveling, or you are looking for a Chromebook, I highly recommend the Samsung Chromebook 2.

I bought an open box item and when I opened it everything was just thrown in the box and it was so dirty and I mean dirty, I didn't even want to touch it.

After 2 yrs is stop working out of no where , very disappointed

Had to return this Chromebook. Might have gotten a bad batch. It kept freezing up and screen went black in the first hour after I got it.

This is damaged, I can't update the computer or it works

Two stars for screen quality. I have a ten year old Acer chromebook that still has better battery life than this does one out of the box. I don't even use the back-lit keyboard (even though that's one of the reasons I chose this) and keep the screen brightness at 50% or lower. Needs to be charged every day with only two hours or so of usage.

So i got 2 of these laptops first one it was good touch screen worked and everything then i logged in and updated the laptop and the touch screen stopped working so i called geek and said they couldnt do anything so i returned it and sent me to another best buy to pick it up made me wait 4 hours u til they told me to come the next day i wale up and turns out my laptop order was canceled so i ended up going to another best buy took o it the same computer and same thing i logged in updated and touch screen stopped working I returned it and now i dont want a laptop anymore because of what i went theough i literally went to 6 different bestbuys which wasted alot of my time a couple bestbuys were rude and some had good costumer service but still the chrome book 2 is deffective

I bought this for school and also to do business on it..The programming sucks on it after setting it up i used it for an hr and the touchscreen completely stopped worked. I swapped out and bout a HP PAVILION X360 absolutely love it
