During the year, I returned it to Samsung 3 times. The last time it came back with the same problem I sent it to them to fix. The continual problem was the Notifications would not work after about 2 months of use. Samsung support always said to clear the app cache or reload the app to refresh the unit-- that eventually didn't help. Other annoying issues: the band is difficult to put on/adjust, you must have 2 apps to manage the device, battery life if poor. DO NOT BUY THIS.

It is not a smartwatch alternative. I tried purchasing as an alternative to a smartwatch and that was a fail. It can not track miles, notifications are difficult to control(I turned off everything except messaging yet others still pop up. So its an Ok product, good value though.

I was on a Pixel device and when it updated to Android 10 the watch stopped pairing with the phone. After a few days it was sort of fixed (it would pair, but the notifications were off). Then I switched to an iPhone 11 and the watch won't even show up in the list on the companion app (it will show up in the Bluetooth section of the settings, just not the app). I contacted Samsung and they have no idea if or when it will be fixed. Basically, if you want a usable device after updates or with new phones, then look elsewhere. The device itself is fine as a fitness tracker, although not nearly as accurate in step counting as a Mi Fit Band 4, which is literally less than half the price. It doesn't support miles, only kilometers.

Captures more information than my previous activity tracking device from another manufacturer. Very bright display, easy to read in daylight, even in the sun light. Wide variety of user selected display options. I could make some suggestions to improved the wrist band.
