I was still running on a Galaxy S3 when my boss kicked me off his cell plan and told me to get my own. I had the S3 for over 4 years and it was showing its age, and the selection of phones at AT&T store was limited unless you wanted to shell out $400 plus, and I despise Apple and own none of their products. This was a breeze to set up with Samsung Smart Switch. Excellent call clarity and screen resolution. The only maddening issue is NO "indicator" light on the front to let you know when a call is missed, text received, etc. If phone is sleeping you will never know something is pending. Seems like a silly omission, I mean my antique phone had it, so I just assumed this model would have it too. For $130 plus tax, then $5 to AT&T for a new SIM card, I was in business. Another caveat: Cases are hard to find, BB didn't stock one, wound up at a Verizon store and they actually had in stock a Speck clear case that fits nicely (even though this unlocked model will not work on CDMA carriers). Don't hesitate to buy this product, or its bigger cousin the Galaxy J7. I just find the bigger phones to be too clunky to fit in my back pocket and the size of this was just a smidgen bigger than my old S3.

Price is good, size is good and sleem, not heavy, Beautiful.

Pretty good phone, no problems for me. Also unlocked so that's a big plus.

The camera has an awesome picture quality and the battery last the whole day. I enjoy every bit of it. The only downside is that a notification LED light is not on the front side. Beside this, this phone is great value for the price.

Got my Samsung j3 have a problem with unlock screen, exchange for 2nd Samsung j3 work excellent. Good WiFi range .battery life good it really depend how you used. Reception good. Camera is ok. The only I give 4 star because it don't have WiFi calling unless you use hotspot. And also no light at the button Home, return and tab. Other that I love this for reasonal price on sale at Best Buy $149

First of all this is the best phone that I have ever had and I have been using Samsung phones for at least 15 or more years. When I first got it I couldn't hear it to well. I looked on line and that was the only complaint that I saw, so I figured that that was why it was so inexpensive. I was in another store and I told the salesman the problem. He went to settings and fixed it. It is the best and was an excellent price. Very satisfied..

i purchased this phone as a Samsung sky, qvc tracfone special.109 with one years prepaid service.. that comes out to 10.00 a month and a free phone. service is att. works fine for us..photos are not iphone quality

After tryng to save money by buying phones direct from China and having problem after problem, my son encouraged me to get a name brand that has warrranty service in the US. He was right! I chose Samsung because I've had such luck with the other Samsung itemns I've bought, and I learned about the AMOLED screen and wanted one on my new phone so badly! Before I thought I needed a bigger screen to text nomally, but I didn't. I needed this phone! Not only can I easily text without hitting other letters, but I can also have reliable and usable anticipatory words to choose from too. Everything on this phone is amazing. I wish I'd done this a few years ago, and my timing in needing to get a new phone corresponded perfectly with a great sale on this phone here at Best Buy. I'm a happy camper..

I buy this samsung j3 for my daughter. she love it. she tell me this better the samsung S3. BB alway have good prices.

Looking for an unlocked phone I came across the galaxy j3 This is an excellent phone for the money. It has 16gb of memory. That is hard to find at this price. I have no complaints with this phone.

Husband loves this phone. He is rough on phones and broke the last one he had because he stepped on it. Works great for the price!

Ease of useage .I m enjoying the browsing web.I store lots of pictures and still lot of available storage.I can even use it in other country by changing the SIM card so good for traveling

The Great price good work the good battery long time

The 2016 Galaxy J3 was a very good phone in its price range, but it has now been replaced by the 2017 Galaxy J3. The J3 is sold under a different name by each phone carrier. Sprint calls it the Emerge. T-Mobile calls it the J3 Prime. AT&T sells it under two different names. Verizon sells its own version. Cases: Because the 2017 J3 is sold by every major carrier, it will be easy to find nice cases. Best Buy stocks the very nice Incipio NGP case. The 2016 cases do NOT fit the 2017 J3 models so have the store staff verify you are selecting the correct case.

I purchased this phone as a backup phone and I am satisfied with the performance given that the low price of the phone. This is budget friendly and it does pretty much all the basic things what a smart phone is supposed to do.

SIM CARD - I give this review for one reason. The specifications above state that this phone is using MICRO SIM Card when actually is using NANO SIM card. I think that I will return it back, I bought it believing the specifications. I have no complains about the product, just the false specification.

I love my first phone. wow Beautiful . a new best budget phone for a start

Owned 3 Iphones before buying this on recommendation of two others. Glass cracked withing a month even with protective case cover and Mr. Shield protecting the glass. Never had an issue with Iphone glass but this one right away even with all the protection. Then to top it off, the sound fades in and out when listening to a video. Goes from normal to barely audible then back to normal. Even had a few times where couldn't hear any video sound. Called Geek squad at Best Buy and he said because its a cheaper phone, its more prone to problems. Bottom line, if you want this phone for business or for long term, think twice. Better to get a more expensive model and pay for some insurance. Will not make the same mistake again.
