Honestly, this phone is amazing for the price! I am not the guy to spend a ton of money on a phone I purchase a new phone about once a year to 2 years and this phone is way better then I expected! Super fast and not full of bloatware like some other phones I have purchased from some "big box stores" and that was nice for a change. Now as far as the screen goes it plays quialty video when I watch NASCAR or other sports with the XFINITY app. I truly am very happy with this device. I have every app I had with my old phone and a couple more and still have plenty of space left for more! (I'm only half full) Great price point in this device at best buy. Also this phone will pick up both Wi-Fi bands at home 2.4 gigahertz and 5 gigahertz! Amazing call quality. Really, I couldn't be happier... highly recommended! Stop reading this review an go get you one at best buy right now!!!

I purchased the J727U to replace a Moto X Pure that failed twice. The J7 is faster, has a better signal, and offers all of the features I want (replaceable battery, optional slot of an SD card), big clear screen, and because it is unlocked, I can buy SIM cards when I travel overseas and use it. Calls don't drop even in my rural location, which is a great change. The price can't be beat. Well, maybe on Black Friday...I'm watching for a price match deal. I would absolutely recommend this phone to any Android user.

My husband bought this phone for me. I have been looking for a phone for about 6 months now. I'm tired of paying $500+ for a phone every 2 years. I said no more the battery last about 2 days before it needs to be charged. You can also replace the battery when it needs to be replaced. I would recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a phone. Great phone!

The phone does everything I need. The battery life is the best part about the phone. It last all day, I was constantly charging my s6. It is occasionally slower loading things, but overall a good phone for my purposes. messaging, words with friends, you tube all work fine. Worth it to me not to have to spend $800 on galaxy 8s.

Bought this for my wife (she needed to replace her very old but reliable Samsung). Very robust design, nice big screen, very crisp images. Great value. Camera is also very good. My wife loves it. Thinking of buying one for my son.

I bought this for my mom since she was having issues with her old phone. We bought it unlocked so she could switch carriers. Unfortunately Cricket will not allow her to use her hotspot, but she still loves the phone and it has a large enough screen where she can search the web on it (she has eyes problems) since it's samsung, i know it will last her another 5 years with how well she maintains her phones. If you are someone who wants a smartphone but doesnt want to pay the high dollar, this is a good phone to consider.

For the price, this phone has all of the basic features you would want, ie big screen, expandable memory, decent processor, Google Assistant, and built in sensors with the latest Android 7 OS. It doesn't have the highest resolution screen, but on a phone screen, I'm not really sure what the point is for having 4K resolution. I haven't pushed the battery life yet, so I can't comment on that. Overall, a very solid phone at a good price.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S5. I purchased this for another family member. The J7 looks very sleek and it is very light weight, but it takes some time to get used to maneuvering the phone. The S5 was very neat and easy to use, this new model has some great features but is taking some time to get used to it. Overall a decent phone with all the smartphone capabilities and not a killer price tag! The phone did not come with a headset, which was a bummer!!

I'm used to owning every new flagship cell phone that's on the market whether it's an iphone or Android and became interested in testing a lower end phone to compare. Yes, the S8+ is much better in all factors but this phone does not disappoint at all. Only a hickup on occasion but that could be networking issues. It's a solid phone and now my main phone which saves me a ton when buying a new flagship phone outright! No finger print sensor is a bummer though but it's not a deal breaker. I work in software/hardware development and this phone is great for the price even for a phone expert like me ;) Sold my S8+ and got 3 of these for my family. No complaints yet.

I used to own the 2016 J7 version and I really missed it. It was fast, sleek and I never had a problem with it. So when I had to get a new phone I wanted to go back to the J7. The 2017 version is a sleek phone. I did notice that one of my games wasn't as colorful but that's okay. It has no problems with any of the apps I have installed. Its features are the same except this time around I found the button to turn mobile data off. This is a neat feature. If you are looking for a phone that has a lot of features but not for the high price the other Samsung phones have this is a good pick for you.

It was a gift for my mother. She wanted a dual sim phone. This color phone didnt have that feature. Had to exchange it with another Samsung J7 with a dual sim. The store did not have it so had to order it. Was a hassle exchanging it at customer service. However the new phone works well with the dual sim. Its a good phone for the price. Plus point is it is unlocked. Also it came with a Cricket prepaid card for $40 and a sim card for $10.

This is definitely a great lower cost upgrade if you don't want to pay too much. So far no complaints, has all updated apps. Ring tones are not so great, but apps can improve that easily.

I like that the phone is unlocked and that I got it for a low price because somebody return it. I will always get this phone when I need a phone unlocked

If you're not willing to cough up extra money for a high end phone, then this phone is for you. Got this phone for my mother in law and she loves it.

I bought this phone for my mom to replace her aging S6. The price was great at best buy and I was very surprised by the performance. I personally have an S8 Plus and the launcher and software are basically the same. It comes with a Samsung Exynos chip that seems to be very capable for this phone and at this price range. Love the fact that it has a removable battery and a Micro SD card slot. Also it has been working great on the T-mobile network and it has the Band 12 LTE band for better indoors coverage. Overall my mom is very satisfied with the phone and I think it's a bargain when you get it on sale.

This is my second Samsung. Love this phone. Easy to navigate and the battery life is tremendous. Love the power saving feature. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a phone with great capabilities at a great price. Thank you Samsung for making the transfer of information from my old phone to my new phone so incredibly easy.

Our new Samsung S7 was stolen and we could not afford to buy another one. The J7 is great and does everything we need it to.
