This phone started out good, but has really crapped out on me. No go.

Was a great phone for price but took 24 to set up service

This is a surprisingly good phone for the money. While it's not a flagship phone, it has a reasonably large, crisp screen and is very fast. This phone will do what 90% of people need and want from a phone. I bought it to replace a Moto G4 which developed ghost touch, and the J7 is every bit as good (without ghost touch).

For $150 you can't ask for more. Decent camera, awesome screen, quick processing and good storage. Is it going to keep up with the latest flagships? No. Is it many many hundreds of dollars less? Yes. For the price this phone will suit 90%+ of cellphone users. I've compared it with friends flagship phones and it's close enough that many of them actually said they were going to look at it (or it's current equivalent) when they get their next phone. Mine is on a prepaid network that uses Verizon towers and was easy to set up, register and use. Not only do I recommend this phone I constantly bring it up when people start talking about them.

With my current cell phone my service days and minutes show on the top of the screen. Every time that I do something it automatically shows how many minutes that I just used and how many that I have left. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro takes a step backwards by making you send a text to 611611 to see your balances. I believe this was done on purpose to make you use up your minutes quicker so you have to but more sooner. Bottom line, only an idiot would use their minutes to find out how many minutes they have left!

Great if you are an Uber Driver Battery lasts long! Better than Samsung S5,S6,S7,S8 and S9

The performance you get for the price is nice but the phone just has issues I can't live with. 1. Bluetooth LE (low energy) does not work reliably on this phone. My Fitbit Charge 2 will not stay connected. My Pokemon Go Plus will not connect at all. Both devices work with my 2 previous phones. 2. Wifi randomly turns on - not a big deal, but annoying. 3. Several apps I use daily crash or fail to load at all. Prime photo (amazon backup solution for pics and video) does not load at all. Pokemon Go & Final Fantasy Brave Exvius crash randomly. All 3 apps work on my previous phones. My previous phones were: ASUS Zenfone 2 & Nexus 5
