The only reason I bought it was because the saleslady insisted that my son's family did not need a subscription "plan" to have online access for my granddaughter. I was assured that as long as they had internet access there would be no problem. Truth is that for children only games, etc. you do have to subscribe. Very misleading!!!! So now the Christmas gift I bought her is costing them a monthly fee in order for her to enjoy. Not happy.
