It is not easy to get to places on this model, having trouble connecting to wi fi and also it wont take a picture when I want, have tons of trouble finding out how to turn the flash on when taking pictures plus it comes on very slow

I suppose a lot of people would rate this tablet much higher but I am now on my third Samsung tablet. I had 2 Tab 4's and had a lot of trouble with each in relation to the battery life, I upgraded to the Galaxy Note. I still have trouble with the battery depleting VERY fast. It goes from 100% charged to 1-2% in about 15 minutes of use when not plugged in. In order to use I have to keep plugged in at all times and carry an extension cord around with me from room to room. Other than that, I like my tablet but am sorry I did not go with something else when I exchanged products.

All in all, it's a great product, but for some reason, it takes longer to charge than you can actually use it. It takes a VERY LONG time to charge. Even if it's off while charging.

After eyeing this tablet for over a year, I finally decided to get one for myself. I'm a teacher and a grad student. I got tired of lugging my bulky laptop everywhere and I need something that was compact, efficient, and could connect me instantly. This is the best purchase I've made in a long time! I'm so pleased with it and I love the efficiency and convenience. The colors are vibrant, images are sharp and clear, great sound quality, super fast speed, and the best thing is that as long as I'm connected to WiFi, I'm connected anywhere. No data plans required! The battery life is great, too. I played with it for hours and the lowest it got down to was about 50%. It's awesome. It was a little pricier for my taste, but I'm pleased with my Galaxy Note and I have no regrets. You will not regret it, either. Hope this helps!

I'll start with the cons on this guy since there are very few of them. Cons: One of the biggest cons of this tablet would have to be the price, it is rather spendy although i see it has gone down in price even more since i bought mine about a month ago. But understandably it is a top of the line tablet with many features so i'm not knocking any stars for it. One of the only other cons i have about this is the time it takes to wake when pushing the power button or opening the keyboard case(sold separately). It wakes a little sluggishly but it really doesn't hinder anything i'm doing. Pros: Where to begin, The tablet first of all looks amazing, some people complain about the fake leather backing on it and the plastic trim, but who(besides apple) says everything have to be metal? It likely cuts back on the price and if you were to drop your tablet, a metal backing or trim is going to do nothing, That is what the insurance is for. so unless you're looking at it and analyzing the casing, it looks great i think. The screen looks terrific as it should with a 2560x1600 resolution. great color balance and super sharp! Thea features packed in this thing seem limitless. the S pen works extremely well with handwriting recognition. i am super sloppy and often my printing kinda blends together like i'm trying to write in cursive and it can tell what i'm writing better than i can sometimes which is great. obviously this isn't good for writing a report but it's nice when jotting down notes or numbers or even messaging someone perhaps. i particularly like that the pen when hovering over the screen shows a small bubble which acts like a mouse in some ways. hovering over many things will give more info on what it is perhaps or in a browser will open a drop down menu as opposed to trying to open it as a link to another page. For anyone doing their research and finding many reviews on the tablet being laggy, fear not, i had the same worry, but after testing it and eventually purchasing and using it, there is little to none anymore. most of those reviews were based on the model with the roll out software but it has received a few updates(that come preinstalled) and it seems to solve whatever problem reviewers had before. My recommendation, for anyone wanting a good al around powerful tablet for school, business, or even pleasure, make this a serious consideration. But go in the store and interact with it yourself a for a while, it's the only way to get a good feel if it's right for you.

Seems to be the best tablet you could buy right now. Incredible screen, nice battery life, solid build, the s pen is easy to learn. Seems almost overloaded with cool little features (easy to disable any you don't want to use) If you have the money and want a top tablet I would certainly recommend this one. A couple reviews online mentioned some OS lag which made me iffy about the tablet but absolutely no lag at all and I've used it quite a bit.

I recently owned the previous Note 10.1 and I traded it in for the Nexus 7. I could not stand the fact that my phone had better resolution than my tablet. I did like the Nexus but it was not big enough and did not have the expanded memory port. This tablet is very good so far. Not only does it have the higher resolution and more powerful processor, it also seems to have a better feel about it than the previous version. If you have the dough, I would highly recommend.

I didn't like that it kept freezing up on me. I couldn'r transfer songs to my SD card. Could transfer a few movies.

I picked this up at a Black Friday Best Buy sale because it was discounted and new. I needed something to use at work (as a salesman on the road most of the time) and at home. I initially bought it because I own the Samsung Galaxy S4 phone and thought the ecosystem would be the same (Touch Wiz). Not only is the ecosystem the same, it is BETTER due to the stylus. I honestly thought I would not use the stylus. I was wrong, wrong, wrong. I can already see how much it will help me in the field with my sales calls, sketching artwork for clients and more. I can also see how this tablet would be great for artists and budding artists. And I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what this tablet can do. When I registered the tablet, imagine my surprise when I found out all of the FREE stuff I got, such as: $25 on Google Play; $50 on Samsung HUB; 12 weeks on NYTimes online; 1 year of Businessweek online; 50GB on Dropbox for 2 years and more. *One suggestion - I opted for the 16GB device and bought a 64GB SD Micro card (as I did with my S4). It was cheaper and afforded more memory than going for the 32GB device.

This computer is great for easy tasks but is really slow. I wish I had retuned it within the window for something else.

I bought this while it was on sale under two different promotions, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This tablet is super fast and the screen is super clear. The battery last more than long enough for me, regardless of if I'm reading, playing a game, or watching football/TV on it. The s-pen gives it an added "wow" factor that gives me access to options I thought would be limited to a computer and mouse. As stated above, the only thing I don't like is that the volume rocker doesn't adapt to being held in the portrait angle. This is barely an irritation, though as it took barely any time to adapt to it. All in all, this is an amazing tablet.

Pros: This tablet is really beautiful... FAST as can be. The features on it is absolutely incredible and really brings tablet use to a new level. From the S pen to the air commands. Cons: Samsung overlays android with their system touchwiz. It has its good but it has its bad like major Memory hog. I'd recommend using one of the launchers such as nova launcher, or ilauncher (ios7) for a more customization of an experience Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a worthy tablet that will last for a while .. this is the one. The specs are extremely high, and it will be a blow out for some time.
