I gave this tablet to my son but I just it just as much to go on the Internet and watch YouTube videos. He uses it to watch movies and play games from the store -most of which were free. Sometimes he has a presentation that he uses with the tablet and reads e-books when traveling.

I've been waiting for this tablet , and finally got it ...I also own an iPad not to happy with it ...now I just you it for some music

I do not recommend any Android device if you are planning to store applications on a microSD card. ???Most applications cannot be stored on the card. ???This is by direction of Google. ???I made the mistake of purchasing a 16GB Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" 2014. ???I currently have less than 7GB available. ???I have used less than 1GB of the 64GB card. ???I purchased this tablet and a 64GB card to use. ???You can possibly store music, videos, and documents if the device allows it. ???It appears possible but when you go through the process you are shown what is available to transfer to the card. ??? If you want an Android device of any kind, do your research. ???This was an issue of which I was not aware until discovering how to transfer data to the microSD card. ???If you want an Android to used with a microSD card, get the device with the largest internal memory possible. ???I like the tablet just fine, but applications i want to install will use too much memory. ???I switched from an iPad to the Samsung Galaxy.

Bought this for its handwriting capability. It really writes beautifully. However, there appears to be no way to connect it to a projector using VGA. The Samsung people at Bestbuy told me both that it could and that it could not get VGA out. They finally decided that it could, but that they were out of the connector. Got it home. Could not find a connector. Chatted with SAMSUNG support, and was told it cannot get VGA out. In my experience, many projectors still only support VGA.

I had the old model and I rather it now. I used to use the S Note a lot, but the new version has lots of worse things

Per level two tech support. The only thing this #$@/& thing will connect with is a Samsung TV with a special HDMI M H L port. It will not connect to a standard H D M I port. It CAN NOT connect to a STANDARD H D M I port on a projector, TV, or any other device. Which makes it useless for business or teaching or any other use, PowerPoint or screen mirroring on a projector WILL NOT WORK. I want a refund! There is a menu function for screen mirroring but after trips to level two support "there is not currently a way to connect to other devices" "There are currently no accessories available to connect to a STANDARD H D M I device! I want a refund and will buy a device that will connect to the outside world.

Had it one day, now the Internet throws a pop up all day long that it has stopped working. Various Samsung programs, (scrapbook, etc.) are now doing the same thing. Flash worked three days, now nothing, java too. Metal border is coming away from the glass screen and it has never been dropped. Not one thing about this tablet is commendable. Even Samsung customer service is bad. They ask you to clear the cache on the Internet while chatting with tech support, which in turn, shuts down the chat and that step didn't resolve the Internet crashing ALL OF THE TIME! Restarting it just makes the error pop up more. Returning this and going back to the ever reliable ASUS.

unit never fully charges even when plugged in for days. after using it for a hour or so your work disappears and you have to restart the program. Value drops to 25% of your purchase price right after you leave the store. Even the Samsung in store representatives don't want to talk with you after you buy the unit. This is my experience with the unit. I don't think they are all like that.
