The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a great productivity tool for work. The software allows you to take notes and even use word processing, spreadsheets, powerpoint, and schedule your appointments easily. I love the virtual keyboard since it is so accurate that I have no problems miskeying what I need to get into. The infrared works so well and interfaces with my Smart TV very well. The camera and video are easy to use displaying HD quality pictures. I really like this tablet and I think it is one of the best in the market right now.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas for school work. So far she has been able to do all she needs to with it and with ease. It's very easy to get around on this tablet. And has more features than what I realized. Very satisfied with my purchase and I researched a lot of tablets before making a final decision.

I use the tablet mainly for school and the s pen let's me write notes about my class and I can take pics, record video or voice if needed. It works with android system and if you have a Samsung phone, most of the apps are compatible with each other.

Purchased for my wife. She wanted a reader but at the sametime want to be able to chat and do emails at work or when she was out. The size is just right for her. Fits in her purse. She loves it and takes it everywhere with her.

I have a S3 phone and this tablet works just like it. This is my first tablet and I am very happy with the 8 inch screen verses the 7 inch. The 10 inch seemed a little big.

A great tablet for people new to tablets or seasoned users. The features are fantastic and the screen and graphics are excellent. If you own any other Samsung product(s) the ease of communication between them is an added bonus!

I use it practically everyday for school and I am so glad that I decided to go with this purchase. As much as I wanted a larger screen...the smaller tablet suits me so well. It's a perfect size for someone with small hands. :-)

Overall this is a great tablet. I use it for work and home, I have not found any discouraging limitations yet with using applications and keeping data up to date between the tablet and a Windows PC. At times there are times of 1 or 2 seconds where the screen doesnt respond, this may relate to the Samsung email as that is when I notice it. Also, the stock email, if the next character of a line will need to go to a new line and that character is a space, the system wont allow the space so you have to type a character which misspells the word but moves the whole word to the new line then a space can be created which returns the correct word to the previous line and allows you to continue typing as needed.

What a great improvement on the TAB 2.0, which was just a bit too small. Now, with an 8" screen and the awesome S-Pen, this is the tablet I should have waited to purchase rather than getting the TAB.

This is my first tablet so I can't really compare it to other devices, but I find the Galaxy Note 8 to be easy to use, easy to carry around, great to travel with. The battery life seems ok, easily lasts for more than a day.

Bought it for reading, internet use and for travel...works great for what i need it for. The only complain i have was the price, but all the tablets where similar price.

I love my new tablet! It's very fast compared to the last Samsung tablet they made. I also love it because its a very sleek convenient attractive tablet. Although the screen is very sensitive I still wouldn't trade it.

great screen, good touch response, decent camera, good speed while on web, sound is good, writing pen is a great tool that has allowed me to go paperless at work.. would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a tab

it would be a lot better if I could have read the manual that came with it. the print is just to small for my old eyes to see ,even with my glasses on. Good thing it is easy to work . still finding things to do on it ,but having fun !

I feel this device gives excellent value for the dollar. I like the fine point stylus pen that comes with the device. This is more efficient than my finger or the wide stylus types out there.

Personally, I love android os products. The Samsung is great because it is small and portable. Appearance wise, I don't favor the "shiny plastic". Everything other than the material is great honestly, well except material and price.

The Galaxy Note 8 is an awesome tablet, not too big, not too small. I am mainly using my for school and personal use. I love the pen feature. I download my notes for college on the tablet and use the S Pen to make little notes and highlight or underline important parts. I use my tablet to go on Facebook, YouTube, play some games, etc. A few things I don't like. 1 is the screen isn't Super AMOLED. I figured it would be since it's a Samsung product, but it's not. The battery is ok, it lasts a little less than the iPad mini, but not bad. As for the battery itself, it doesn't come out, so you can't replace it with another battery. I think this tablet is great though. If you want a tablet that fits good in your hand and want the pen feature, then this is the tablet to get.

I've been wanting a tablet that was just a bit larger than most 7" tablets and this one fits the bill nicely. Still feels about book size in the hands.
