Got the phone when it first came out. Between Best Buy and Verizon I got phone for less than half price. Great deal!!! Phone works great, camera really nice. Haven't tried all the features yet. I got the glass cover from Verizon. Like it too. Haven't got my bonus yet but my husband has wireless charger and like it. No overheating that I've observed.

Enjoy using my Note 8. Thought I would miss the iPhone 7 plus but really don't. The PEN makes it worth so much more. The live messages that can be sent are cool as well. Worth the value. Got it on sale at Best Buy and then the trade-in discount which made the device $330.

I enjoy the large screen, sturdy design and stylus is great for notes and small buttons on websites. Only downside is the awkward placement of the biosensor. Hard to get fingerprints to be detected with a case on .

I bought this phone for the camera, dual lens, the larger display 6.3 inches & the stylus !!! Bixby ain't bad neither !!! Samsung ticked all the boxes this time !!! Slam dunk !!! Oh yeah, facial recognition is super fast !!!

Phone is fast and has a nice feel in my hand. This is my third Note (previous units Note 2 & Note 5) over the past 6years. I'm glad you can add the SD Micro chips again, a feature left off the Note 5. The stylist and software have nice improvements and I'm still learning how to take advantage of them. It's a great unit but like nearly all devices these days, the pricing is a bit steep. My Note 5 was destroyed at a large volleyball tournament in Louisville, KY after being hit with a ball and landing face down on the convention center concrete floor. Result, no sale of my old device on eBay or trade in at BB... So this purchase hurt a bit more than usual. It's a good device, very fast, and well made, so I expect a couple good years from it.

I've had the Note 4 for 3 years and loved it and kept spare battery if needed since phone was getting older and battery life was slowing down. Then Best Buy had a good deal on the Note 8 for the holiday, so I thought I would check it out but really was against not having a removable battery. However, I left with the new phone that night. Fingerprint sensor works pretty good so far. Haven't tried a lot of features yet but so far I'm happy. For just taking pictures without trying options yet, I'm very impressed with the clarity and color of pictures. Still against no removable battery but time will tell.

awesome great battery life and camera and a lot of features

The note 8 is better than expected. I have been using Samsung phones for a couple years now, after switching from Apple. There is so much more that can be done and I'm learning so much everyday. Although I've only had this phone for a little over month now, I'm very impressed with the battery life! Also, the blue color is just stunning.

I was so happy to finally receive my Samsung Not 8! Yes, it is a bit longer than my Note 5, but it is so thin. The camera is awesome. When I scan bar codes while shopping, there is no delay, they scan the 1st time. All of my apps transferred beautifully. Screen resolution is great. Originally, I had a hard time incorporating the fingerprint security option. My hubby determined that we had done so much with installing and playing with ringtones, etc, that it was a bit like an overload of data. Unfortunately, he had to do a hard reset and we started from scratch. This time we did the fingerprint right away, before doing other things. It worked like a charm. Since I already had a Samsung, it was an almost seamless transfer to the Note 8. I LOVE MY NOTE 8!!!

I upgraded from a galaxy S5 and so far I am really enjoying the note 8. the only bummer is that I had to buy all new chargers since this uses USB-C and I am no longer able to use my external camera that plugs into the phone, for whatever reason even with the adapter the phone wont recognize the external device. I never thought id use the stylus but now that I have it I find myself using it often. this also takes far better low light pictures than my old S5 and even the S7.

Purchased this a week ago, so still getting used to it. I upgraded from the Note 5 and am happy with this new one. I do, however miss the old stylus. This new one has a very small nib that is replaceable (spares included in package). The previous one was a little bigger and permanent, so I didn't worry about pressing too hard on the screen. Also, the end is curved and slick; I've broken a fingernail because it keep slipping off the curve. Otherwise, very happy with it, including much longer battery life, which is great. There are way more apps on it than I need, but may try experimenting.

I absolutely love this phone. Its the first phone in almost 10 years that finally lured me away from an iPhone as my primary phone. I have been on iPhone since 2008 with the release of the iPhone 3G. Although I loved most of my time with the iPhone, the past couple of years have been terrible with my last iPhone (iPhone 6+). To be honest, I had 6 replacements over a course of 2 years with that phone. All of them had either major hardware bugs or software bugs. Good thing I had insurance to replace them. The final straw was iOS 11; its plagued with bugs, slowed my phone down to a crawl, and killed my battery life. After researching alternatives to the iPhone and having many good experiences with Motorola android phones over the years, I decided to give Samsung a try with the Note8. I am so glad I switched over to this. I love Samsung Pay. It actually works at almost every store I shop at. Most stores around me have NFC pay terminals turned off because they break all the time. S-Pen has made me more productive with the note taking feature and the ability to sign PDF forms. I also use the built in FM radio feature when I go out hiking in areas with bad cell service. The screen is amazing and easily the best screen you can get on a phone at this time. Battery life is good to me and I average around 2 full days of use. I am not a heavy cell phone user (I don't game or watch videos on my phone). But I do listen to my stored music on my phone for about 3-4 hours everyday, make around 30 minute to 1 hour phones calls, receive around 100 emails a day, have a Garmin Vivoactive paired to it at all times, and send tons of messages everyday. So the battery life suits my needs just fine for now. Call quality and coverage on Verizon seems to be better with this phone than with my old iPhone 6 Plus. I live in a low signal area in the Los Angeles area and the Note seems to have a stronger connection to Verizon towers. I can use the Note everywhere in my home and not experience a major drop in service.. With all my past iPhones, I had to be by a window at all times in order to get decent service. Step away 15 feet from the window or go in a room without a window, then I would get no service. There are a few small things I don't like about this phone. The phone is a little too tall (especially with a case on it) and sticks out of some my pants. I also wish it had dual external speakers like the newer iPhones and the Pixel 2 devices.The built in speaker is kind of weak, but is comparable to older iPhones (like the iPhone 6/6S series). Overall, the Note8 is pretty awesome phone with many features and I highly recommend this device.
