This is my 3rd galaxy product. Although my first two galaxies were ok. S5 and s7 edge were good phones. They always seemed to slow down after a month or so. This new note 8 is a wonder to behold. The screen is amazing. Pictures and video look amazing in high definition. The camera is amazing. I'm just starting to use it more. It's fast and the quality of the photos are amazing for a phone. The main thing I love is the performance. With 6gb of ram this thing never slows down. This is one aspect of what I disliked about my two previous galaxies. Such low ram on those made everything super slow. No longer the case. If you're Looking for a great phone, look no Further. This is the best phone I've ever used. It may be expensive but doesn't get much better than that

This phone came out very good, I am currently still using it in this year 2023 and it is still working perfectly, really very good quality.

Before this phone, I had an iPhone for 5+ years. Whenever I needed to upgrade, I never looked at any other phone. My boyfriend has an Android phone and is always pushing me to look at them, so I finally did. I researched for days and narrowed my choices to the Note 8 or the iPhone X. I went with the Note 8 because of the screen size and the pen. I am also someone who gets bored easily so I wanted something different. I always excitedly upgraded my iPhone only to discover that it was pretty much the exact same phone. The customization on the Note 8 is insane. Granted, I am coming from an iPhone so I am sure any Android phone would have blown my mind. I love how much I can change! The pen is also one of my favorite things ever. I can screen shot, pin to my screen, etc. One of the best things I have discovered is the scrolling screenshot! No more downloading an app or taking 10 screenshots to get an entire recipe or set of instructions. The only negative was there was a steep learning curve for me coming from iPhone. In addition, the keyboard is different and I found typing to be quite difficult at first. Guess what? You can make the Note 8 keyboard look exactly like the iPhone. I did this and have had no issues since. Everything about this phone is just better than any other phone I have ever had. I can honestly say that I have no regrets with this purchase and I will be an Android user until something changes my mind.

Design aspect: 3/5 Aesthetically the phone is not lacking. It grips you with its delicate design. However, in terms of functionality, the placement of the fingerprint sensor is quite impractical. it is a real struggle for people with relatively smaller hands. My mother needs a 2 move maneuver to be able to unlock the device. Value for money:3.5/5 At 950$ price tag, the phone does offer a lot of premium features.The S-Pen and the rear-view camera almost makes it worth it. However, if you one does not feel the need for the S-Pen, S8+ (Going for around 800$ now) provides a similar gamut of high-end features, obviously excluding the S-Pen and the extra rear-view camera.

Its expensive for whta it is, but overall I am happy. The camera and videos are really good. Upgraded from a S5 so was expected alot of changes but its kind of yeah cool but not wow wow

I bought the Note 8 to replace my slowly dying Moto G 4, which had been a replacement for my dead Note 4. Both of these previous phones had died as a result of the constant need to connect a cable in order to charge them. The Note 8 has wireless charging so I'm hopeful it will have a longer life span. This phone also has NFC (Near Field Communication) that works with Google Pay. It didn't take long for me to love the ability to pay for purchases with my phone. It's much faster. I never realized how much time I used to spend just trying to pay for purchases with a card. I no longer have to carry around a separate stylus in order to keep the greasy fingerprints off my telephone screen, as it comes with a stylus that also offers lots of functions not readily available on other phones such as partial screen captures and the ability to create .gif files from video. The cameras work in much lower light environments than my previous phones and the image quality is much better. Overall, this is an awesome telephone.

My iPhone 5C was starting to go and I decided to switch to an android. I did my research on different phones and asked people with droids their opinions. I made my decision and purchased the Note 8. I was a bit sceptical leaving the simplicity of the iPhone. Best decision ever. Easy to use, fun, versatile, customizable, great pics, I could go on forever. I just love this phone! I made the switch with no regrets and now I'm an android user for life.

It is pricey, but after watching the things you can do about this, i bought it and glad i did. Bixby, i thought it wasnt useful, turns out it is. get a good case and you'll enjoy this phone. Very very nice screen, and battery life is better than my previous phone (when it was new)

This phone is awesome, plus it's unlocked. Best way to buy a phone these days is to get them unlocked this way you don't have to "rent" one from a carrier. It sucks you'll have to pay full price, but hey, now i don't have to pay extra to tether my phone to my laptop or tablet when traveling!

Best Note since the Note 4. Phone is fast, no lag. Has a great sharp camera. Battery seems to last despite being smaller.

Purchased note 8 one month ago and i like it alot. I always used iphone but note 8 is definetly better. Live focus feature gives a dslr effect to your photos and video shoot also provides selective focus. Note 8 comes with a stylus which is of great use if you like planning and has a job of or habbit of taking notes. Huge screen, health app. ( keeps track of your activities and food plus daily activities). So, good for someone who need big screen, phone for business and camera.

Upgraded from the Note 4 -- yes I was holding out for a phone with an external/removable battery, clearly that isn't going to be happening anytime soon. So, I upgraded to the Note 8. Love this phone. The pictures are cleaner and the transfer over is very easy. The only down side I've experienced is that you can not cycle through your apps (you have to go from start to end, and then back... before you could be at the end and swipe to the next screen and it would take you to the beginning). Also, I've been having issues with the wireless charging - both on the pad and the stand. I got the rugged samsung case and at first it charged wirelessly just fine, then it started to have issues and now it is very hit or miss. But overall I'm very happy with this upgrade, sure beats getting an iPhone.

As a longtime Apple products user and iPhone X owner I decided to try the Samsung Note 8 despite not being a real big fan of Android phones. To my surprise, I found the switch was well worth it, especially due to the ability to have functional stylus that works with the phone (sorry Steve Jobs, you were wrong on this one.) The Note 8 offered many advantages over waiting for the Note 9 - first, the price was considerably lower through Best Buy although this is last years model. Second, I still can use it with much of my software syncing, though there are some apps that I have to depend on for use just with my iPad. Better display on the Samsung,no "notch" on the screen, did I mention the stylus is great? I actually like it better than the Note 9 stylus, especially not that awful stylus color on the new Note, not to mention the price. Coupled with a nice case it works for me. Its not perfect, there are some limitations, but then again what phone doesn't have some issues? I'll get plenty of use out of the Note 8 before I see any legitimate reason to upgrade. Still like Apple products too but Samsung Note 8 is a much better phone in my opinion than the X, which for the price was somewhat disappointing, especially after all the hype from last year.

I've had several Note series phones over the years, and still have most of them. Yes actually, I had the note 4 Edge last and loved it so I doubled down on the Note 8 yesterday but I got a better deal at Best buy believe it or not and had to take the one I got at AT&T back. AT&T didn’t have any cases or screen covers so that is why I went by Best Buy immediately after I purchased it. I saved $200 bucks and it was the exact same phone only it was the unlocked version and it will work with any carrier in the US. Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, and even the smaller companies like Metro PCS, Kricket etc. They offer any phone you want like that at Best Buy and for a better price so I took the savings and bought the 2 year tap warranty in case I drop it or loose it or whatever I get a new one and it still came out costing less than AT&T was charging me just for the phone with no insurance or anything. Also, when you buy it unlocked it doesn’t come with all the bloatware and silly stuff you don’t need that the carriers always have baked into them so all of that stuff isn’t running in the background all the time eating up your battery and the biggest bonus . . . I don’t have to listen to any carrier “jingle” song every time I turn the phone off or on. It’s just another little advertising trick all the carriers use to get in your head every chance they get and I have always hated that. If you ever need to re-up on a phone, go to best buy, get the unlocked version of whatever one you want and the two year tap. It just makes sense.
