It is now October 2020 and the charging port is malfunctioning preventing the cell phone from being charged. I had to borrow a friend's wireless charging pad to charge my phone. I do not yet know if the battery is also going dead or if the problem is only the charging port malfunctioning. Also, I bought and returned several charging pads for this model phone. The ones I purchased did nit effectively charge the phone. The Samsung Fast Charge wireless charging pad Model EP-N5100 that I borrowed from my friend when my charging port failed does charge this model phone.

This is my very first android device and have been a iPhone user since the first ones came out. The Note 9 has way more features than any iPhone, has head phone Jack, expandable storage, better at multi tasking, a very customizable user experience,better screen,better camera, and just a better quality device overall. Absolutely in love with the Note 9!

My priority has been sound. For years I would humm and haaw over different models with the speakers I wanted because the overall phone never had solid and consistent reviews. Family member got the Note 9 in Lavender and I got to play around with it. I was surprised by the sound quality and went for it. I have found one defect on the one I purchased; there is a thumbprint sized spot on the left side of the screen that is just dead to input on the touchscreen. Neither pen not finger is sensed in that spot. It's annoying but not a deal breaker. Gong to look into warranty options.
