I thought this was the future innovation. I mean think about it, a ring you just keep on and you can keep track of your health but you have to charge every few days? Wrong. I've had the ring a little over six months and it cannot retain any charge. I would charge it and go to sleep and wake up to find it dead.

Hey Monique, thanks for providing us with your feedback regarding your experience using your Samsung Galaxy Ring. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. Please take a moment to review "How to charge the Galaxy Ring" to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your battery life. The accuracy of the measurements is questionable and should not be relied upon as an indicator of sleep apnea. It may be suitable for tracking activities such as running or walking. The Garmin watch provides more accurate measurements and the next version of this device may offer improved accuracy and the ability to be worn on any finger.

Couldn't even survive one 40 minute workout. Its completely scratched up and looks terrible now. I expected it to look like this eventually but not after one short lift. Also, the fitness metrics are very inaccurate. Was barely active one day and the app showed i had 9ver 10,000 steps and burnt 2,000 calories. Pretty disappointed in this.

★★☆☆☆ Two Stars — Great idea, unreliable in real life I really wanted to love the Samsung Ring, but it’s been disappointing because it simply stopped working. After a short time of normal use, the ring became unresponsive and wouldn’t connect properly, which makes the whole product feel unreliable. I tried the usual troubleshooting—charging it, restarting/resetting it, and reconnecting through the Galaxy Wearable app—but the experience has been more frustrating than it should be for something at this price point. When it works, the concept is fantastic and the ring is comfortable, but reliability is everything with a wearable, and this hasn’t been dependable. If Samsung improves stability and connectivity with updates, I’d reconsider. For now, I can’t recommend it based on my experience.

I've had this ring for 9 months. For the first 8, it was great. It tracked my steps, sleep, and cycle pretty accurately. It worked really well with the samsung ecosystem. I did my best to be mindful to take it off when showering or washing my hands despite the water resistance feature. However, about 3 weeks ago it stopped holding a charge longer than 1 hour. A week after that it died compmetely. The charging case still works, but the ring has given up on life. I originally loved the idea of the ring because I'm not a fan of watches, but it looks like I may have to resort to a watch afterall.

It was great for about 6 months. I wore it 24/7. The fit was great and comfortable. The durability of the finish was lacking but acceptable I guess. It did start to wear away and a few scratches have happened. The big issue is the battery. The battery life went from charging every five days to now charging twice a day. Still under warranty, Samsung is unable to fix it, so they're offering a Samsung credit. I'm taking the credit, and I'll wait until Samsung releases the next gen ring, hopefully fixing the battery issue. I will miss it until then.

I've been a Samsung loyalist since the early smartphone days. This ring is something I can not recommend. Features have been removed since I initially purchased. Body temperature sensing used to give you actual temperatures, now it's obfuscated by a graph with no factual numbers. It's also impossible to use the ring to check your temperature when you want, only when it decides (while you're sleeping). My biggest gripe is the battery. When it was new, it would go 6 days on a single charge. I've owned my ring for 8 months now, and I've watched the battery lifespan degrade severely. As of now, it will not last a single day. I charge in the morning to 100% and it will die during the night.

I think this is a great concept and a good starting point for Samsung. However, as it stands, this ring was a half-baked idea and should not cost more than $200 at most. Your watch will always supersede the ring anytime you wear them together. You want to check your heart rate? Your watch will do it even when it's inaccurate. You want your ring to do it? You have to take to watch off. You want to check your blood oxygen? use your watch because your ring does not allow manual check. The most important thing that will force me to return this is inability to switch to the ring to measure heart rate during cardio session. This was the sole reason why I wanted the ring because I was sick of my watch not being able to measure my HR during a sweaty cardio session. I will wait for gen 3 or gen 4 when they improve some of these qualities. Oh and some of the competitors are offering 12 days of battery life so you are definitely falling behind Samsung.

Hey there Jr3pp, thank you for taking the opportunity to share your experience with using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your feedback as we strive to improve the design and functionality of our product line. We understand that our customers deserve options when it comes to choosing their Galaxy devices. The Galaxy Ring may be more comfortable and convenient option to some customers than a Galaxy Watch because it's worn on your finger instead of your wrist. You do not need to remove your Galaxy Watch in order to utilize the Galaxy Ring's heath tracking features. However, when you do wear both devices simultaneously, your Galaxy Watch will function as the primary device. You can still view your heart rate data that your device takes in the Samsung Health app. Please feel free to review, "Track your health by combining the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch" to learn more. Salutations JosephT, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. With the Galaxy Ring, you're able to slip your device on and forget it with a seven-day charge that won’t slow you down. Combined with a full cradle charge, you can use Galaxy Ring for up to 14 days without plugging into an outlet. The Galaxy Ring does not support continuous heart rate monitoring all the time by default. In fact, continuous tracking is limited to certain supported workouts or when worn with a Galaxy Watch, which then becomes the primary device and turns off some ring features to save power. The Galaxy Ring takes periodic measurements and allows for manual, on-demand readings through the Galaxy Wearable app, with data viewed in the Samsung Health app. Please feel free to review, "Galaxy Ring won't charge" to help resolve what you may be experiencing with your device. Please do not hesitate to reach out to Support afterward if you would like any further assistance. Thank you for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra Samsung
