I tried to get the ring repaired or replaced under the warrantee. First they denied that the ring was under warrantee: I uploaded the receipts, they agreed the warrantee was valid until March 2026. Then the website/customer support gave me the run around for several days, then on November 1, they declared the warrantee expired October 31. What a bunch of crooks.

At first the battery would last 3-5 days without needing a charge. After that first 6-10 months it dropped to two days. Now, conveniently after the warranty expired, I am lucky to get a full 24 hours out of this watch. I do not wear this when I excercise so it's not like it's going through regular bouts of intense activity. I wear a smartwatch for excercise, but purchased the ring primarily for sleep tracking or step counting when I'm not wearing the watch. Big waste of money and very disappointed because this could've been a fantastic product and easily recommended.

Not what I thought it would be

I bought it because I thought it was a constant pulse oximetry, it does what my fitbit does and only measures nightly. I've had it exactly for 1 year and 1 week, now the the battery doesn't even last more than 5-6 hours.

Combined with a full cradle charge, you can use Galaxy Ring for up to 14 days without plugging into an outlet. The Galaxy Ring does not support continuous heart rate monitoring all the time by default. In fact, continuous tracking is limited to certain supported workouts or when worn with a Galaxy Watch, which then becomes the primary device and turns off some ring features to save power.
