    Best Buy is Terrible. Buy it elsewhere!

    This ring is not that great. Especially when it is the same price as some other rings by Oura. I bought it as a gift, my wife didn’t open it up until a week after I bought it because it was a gift and she did not get it until that time. Best Buy only gives 15 days for return. She wore for one week and it did not pick up her workout, the interface on the Samsung app is not that great. When I try to return it, Best Buy said I could not return it because I was outside of the window. They did not give me any options, they forced me to buy the Best Buy plus program for $50 in order to get my refund back. That is ridiculous, this is a big scam. I recommend you buy it from Amazon where they give you 30 days no hassle.

    Horrible... I mean, an atrocious sleep tracker if you move in bed. 5 days in a row, I go to sleep around 10 pm and wake up around 7 am. The ring shows that I sleep 1-2 hours and time in bed starting at 5 am. I have done the advanced settings and also set up my time in bed.... This ring just sucks.

    Was not made clear on website or in store w/tech that you MUST have Samsung Galaxy phone to get the benefits of this product. Otherwise it's just a very expensive step counter.

    14 months after I bought and the battery goes from 100% to 50% in less than 12 hours. Check other people complaining about battery all around. It is a huge problem in this product. I do not recommend.

    Buyer Beware

    The main reason for the 1 star review is 2-fold. Initially, I liked the ring. I bought it mainly to track my sleep apnea and 02 scores while asleep. All of the other stuff was just icing on the cake. It was a steep investment monetarily for the price, but if it did the job, worth it. When I later discovered it had a shelf life of barely over 2 years and 400 charge cycles, I was put off but it wasn't a deal breaker. It was then I decided to just wear it at night to track my sleep scores, which should extend the life of the ring greatly. Then I found out I get a very limited sleep reading when I only wear it at night and no 02 scores at all. It was at this point I decided to return it, but when I went on the BB site to start a return, I discovered the return window had closed, yet I'd only had the ring for 15 days. Evidently you have only 14 days to return the product. This has turned my stomach to owning anything Samsung ever again, including TV's and phones. I don't like being taken advantage of like that after having been a good customer for decades.

    I attempted to purchase a like new open box samsung ring. First time I received a brand new looking package but the ring in the box was actually a size 8. Even though the box was right. Second ring after arrived out of the box, no original box, not even the book. Lo and behold, doesnt work. Returned it and ended up with a 100 gift card in leiu of my spent cash. Never again.

    Despite getting an open box item in excellent condition, i received a dud. My ring would not track sleep the first three nights. Also, the battery started failing after a week or two, going from full charge to 0 overnight. I would not recommend open box tech in the future.

    Would not recommend based on my personal experience. After 9 months of use, the battery has gone from lasting a full week on a single charge, to only ~5 hours. Researching this issue on google has revealed many other experiencing this kind of issue. Samsung support has not been the most helpful in getting this resolved. I would wait for a 2nd or 3rd gen variation of this device before committing to the price tag.

    I bought the ring as a gift. As a BB member, I got a discount plus the ring came with a $50 gift card. Unfortunately, the ring size was wrong. Upon exchanging for the right size, Best Buy employeees were confused. They were charging me extra $50 because I got a gift card when I first bought it. It’s a simple exchange for a wrong size. Very simple to understand. I do not know why Best Buy is not equipped or have the ability to understand an even exchange transaction. Nevertheless, I will be returning the ring and buying it from another vendor who understands a simple exchange transaction.

    This ring had less features than a $20 smart ring I got from China. To use most of the features, you have to have a Galaxy Watch. Not only that, but you must install a ton of Samsung bloatware on your phone to run it. It's also thicker and less comfortable than my cheap ring. Very disappointed.

    I’ve been using the ring for a week, and it needs updating. I had surgery and haven’t been active, so the ring gives me a lousy energy score because I'm not active, but everything else is good. Sometimes, my heart rate is 30 beats off. It shows my sleep pattern is bad most of the nights.

    Waste of money

    The only thing this ring seems to do is light up all night long. The green and red lights stay on all night. I don't notice them during the day, but I sure notice them at night. I don't see that the ring measures anything. It does my skin temperature, but that is the only thing it measures. The battery no longer holds a charge. I'm sure that's because the lights stay on all night. Hopefully, the next version will be better. This one is a waste of money.

    Purchased and immediately had to return two days later. Ring would be fully charged and drained of battery within a few hours, defeating the purpose of wearing it overnight and keeping track of information. I will probably wait for the next gen of this ring before purchasing again. Otherwise, the look and feel of it were great.

    Ring arrived defective. Doesn’t work at all. Best Buy sent me to Samsung. Samsung sent me to Best Buy. Best Buy, After speaking with 4 different employees at Best Buy telling me wildly different claims of what they can and can’t do to return or exchange the item. I just finished my fifth call in three days and we will see how this goes. They won’t exchange it but they said they are going to send someone from Best Buy to pick up the ring to my house, y0 miles from the nearest Best Buy or major town. Seems easier just to swap it but whatever.
