I bought this so i could wear my good watches and count my steps, and almost exactly after 1 year it no longer stays connected to my phone. It essentially useless. I have tried rebooting, resetting it, updating firmware, etc. It will only stay connected if it sits in the case. The moment i put it on it will disconnect within seconds and then not reconnect until i put it back in the case. I have never damaged it. Samsung will only look at it for $100. Then no guarantees that it will stay working. Also battery life is not great. It drains within a day. I should have bought the Oura.

Underwhelming asthetics

I am a Samsung dedicated user. However, I just couldn't get past how cheap this ring felt. So if you are looking for a ring that you don't know that you have on, this is good for you.

My only issue is the ability to track the type of work based on body movements. I did the elliptical and the ring recorded a run and also fave me the pace for the run..

After 7 months it is not holding a charge for more then a day and is constantly losing connection. I have to charge this ring ever night and even after that it losing battery power and my connection which result in inaccurate sleep data.

When you are not using the Ring, it is recommended to store it in the charging case. You can fully charge the Ring in about 90 minutes using the charging case. However, when charging for the first time or when the battery is completely drained, it may take at least ten minutes for the Ring to begin working. Actual battery life, charging time, and usage time may vary depending on the Ring’s size, the network environment, personal usage patterns, charging frequency, and other factors.
