It tracked my steps, sleep, and cycle pretty accurately. It worked really well with the samsung ecosystem. I did my best to be mindful to take it off when showering or washing my hands despite the water resistance feature. However, about 3 weeks ago it stopped holding a charge longer than 1 hour. A week after that it died compmetely. The charging case still works, but the ring has given up on life. I originally loved the idea of the ring because I'm not a fan of watches, but it looks like I may have to resort to a watch afterall.

The battery life of the Galaxy Ring will last for up to 7 days of consecutive use on a full charge. When you are not using the Ring, it is recommended to store it in the charging case. You can fully charge the Ring in about 90 minutes using the charging case. However, when charging for the first time or when the battery is completely drained, it may take at least ten minutes for the Ring to begin working. Actual battery life, charging time, and usage time may vary depending on the Ring’s size, the network environment, personal usage patterns, amount of calls and messages, charging frequency, and other factors. Does everything the listing promises however the price for the features are not fully equal to me but that is the price of a brand new technology. The ring is super light and doesn't scratch very easily.

I just had a phone and samsung watch that could everything the exact same. I really bought it to try it and it was as i thought. Mid. Maybe i was expecting to much or i wasnt the target audience. I guess if u were a runner that didnt like watches but as a average joe. This ring was unnecessary and i saved myself $400 returning it.

I still wanted this ring so I purchased another new one from best buy in hopes that the new one worked out better will update this later. I was glad that the other one was easy to return.

Since it is under warranty, I took it to the Samsung store in Cerritos, CA. Tested and it passed so they can't do anything per corporate policy. I told them they can have my ring for further testing and they won't do it since it passed their "test". For the hundreds of dollars spent, be warned of the battery life. I now have a ring that can not be used. Maybe wait for the product to mature or try Oura rings instead.
