Functionality, wise, I got what I paid for. And I'm somewhat okay with that. But cosmetically, the ring gets scratches on it quite easily. Seeing that I have a black one that is something that could become a bother very soon here. But overall, not a bad purchase.

Greetings MannyH, thank you for finding the unobstructed time out of your bustling day to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your feedback is appreciated as we strive to be innovative while improving the design and functionality of our product line. Here's a few tips and precautions to ensure your Galaxy Ring works correctly and maintains its appearance. > Clean the ring’s sensor at least once per week to remove foreign materials that may interfere with the sensor’s biometric detection. Wipe the ring with a soft cloth or rinse it using a soap-free detergent. Make sure to dry it thoroughly. > Prevent the ring from being exposed to dust, sweat, ink, oil, and chemical products such as cosmetics, antibacterial sprays, hand cleaners, detergents, and insecticides. The ring’s exterior and interior may become damaged, which may result in poor performance. If the ring is exposed to any of these substances, clean it using a soft, lint-free cloth. > Skin irritation may be caused by soap, detergents, hand sanitizers, or cleaning agents left on the ring. > Never use external heat sources, ultrasonic waves, soap, cleaning agents, abrasive materials, or compressed air to clean the ring. Doing so may damage the ring. > When removing sunblock, lotion, or oil, clean the ring with a soap-free detergent and then rinse and dry it thoroughly. Please feel free to review, "Keep your Galaxy Ring clean" and "How to set up and wear your Galaxy Ring" to learn more about keeping your device in its pristine condition. Do not hesitate to contact Support afterward if you would like any further assistance. Thank you for being a dedicated Samsung customer. - Debra Samsung

I really love the functionality of this ring and how it keeps me motivated to keep moving and to get good sleep. I've had it less than a year and the battery seems to be dying, requiring me to charge it pretty much daily.

Good day ErikaF, thanks for reaching out to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your feedback as we strive to improve the functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on your device for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. On a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Battery life may be extended by up to 30% if worn alongside a Galaxy Watch, as this helps reduce redundant feature usage. For optimal battery performance, it's recommended to store the Ring in its charging case when not in use. If left outside the case, the Ring's sensors will remain active, resulting in unnecessary battery consumption. Battery life for your Galaxy Ring can vary depending on environmental factors like temperature, network environment, and signal strength can all affect battery life. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. The ring's color began to fade after three weeks of use, concerning me about its long-term appearance. Additionally, the battery life looks like short of the advertised seven days, particularly for individuals who engage in physical activity or frequent movement.

Where to start... First I'm going to complain about the looks and finish of this ring. For the hefty price tag of $400 this ring looks super cheap it has no shine to it whatsoever like metal doesn't feel like metal looks more like cheap plastic it measures about a quarter of an inch thick which for a ring is pretty thin especially for a male. I would of liked to have Samsung offer a narrow as well as a wider band option. Vs only one size fits all optin. For the price of the ring I'm disappointed in the look and quality of its finish I've seen the silver, gold and I have the black and they all look like cheap plastic to my eyes. On to what it was designed to do. The ring does track sleep snoring heartbeat walking and activities just fine as it supposed to. I'm surprised by how small the ring is that it's built in battery last as long as it does. It's a shame Samsung can't make their watches which are 20 times the size of the ring, last longer than the normal day day and a half on a single charge at 100%. The ring takes over most the responsibilities of activity and sleep tracking when you're wearing your Galaxy watch I myself have the Galaxy watch six classic, and I noticed the battery goes by just as fast when wearing the ring as when I didn't have it so that makes no difference. I do like the look of the watch case which also charges the ring. The case can be charged wirelessly or you can charge it with a USBC cable. So far I've charged the case only once when I received it and I've charged the ring three times with battery still to spare in the case. In my personal opinion of ring feels rushed to market to me, I think Samsung should have spent a little more time developing it especially the looks because it just looks like something you can pick up at Target for $10. I personally can't recommend the ring for its looks but most people won't be buying it for its looks although I would think that would be heavily taking in to consideration, when you're forking over $400 for a so-called smart ring that looks so cheap. If it were me designing the ring I would have made it another 1/8 of an inch wider and tried to shave a 32nd second off the thickness. Which would still have plenty of battery for a week's worth of use, on a single charge.

It's been about a month since I bought it, for which I cannot say anything about durability. I do CrossFit and it is not comfortable when carrying / lifting weights, sometimes it pinches the skin. It will not automatically detects exercising (weight lifting, stationary biking, rowing, etc.), except for running or jogging. It measure oxygen levels, but only during the sleep. You cannot measure Oxygen on demand. Battery life is reasonable, no complaints about it. HR during exercising is not helpful since there are no stats associating the exercise done vs. HR. While running, you must have your phone with you, otherwise it will lose track of your run. When doing a combination of exercises (such as normally done in CrossFit), I am not sure if it recognizes the different exercises for which calculation of calories may be inaccurate. It looks cool!

Hey there GeisemB, thank you for taking the opportunity to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Your constructive feedback allows us to make improvements on our devices. The Galaxy Ring automatically detects and records select exercises, primarily walking and running, after continuous activity, measuring metrics like duration, heart rate, and calories burned. Manual tracking is available through the Samsung Health app, allowing for recording of various activities like cycling and strength training. It measures blood oxygen levels automatically while you sleep to analyze health, rather than providing on-demand daytime, in real-time. It also automatically monitors heart rate and stress, with data syncing to the Samsung Health app. To check real-time, manual readings, open the Galaxy Wearable app, tap Heart rate, and select Measure. Feel free to check out, "Keep track of your workouts with the Galaxy Ring" to utilize your auto detect feature to its fullest capacity. Also, the Galaxy Ring stores data and syncs later, however, it lacks built-in GPS, so it relies on your paired phone for location tracking, making your phone a requirement to record GPS-based data like route maps, precise pace, and distance. If you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance, please let us know by contacting Support. We're happy to listen and work toward a better experience for our customers. Thank you for choosing Samsung! - Debra Samsung

I dont know if i just keep getting lemons or its due to weight loss. My first one lasted 7 months before it wouldn't hold a charge for a full day. This second almost made it to the year mark. I just bought a smaller size in hopes it lasts longer. After this im done. Otherwise its a great product and does every thing it says it does. I have an office job so my activity isn't the cause of the battery drainage.

Hey there CanDun, thank you for taking the time to reach out and share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. Typically on a single charge, the Galaxy Ring can last up to 7 days, depending on usage. Also, usage patterns: frequent use of features like sleep tracking, work auto detection, and gesture controls can impact how long the battery lasts. To prevent damage to your device, avoid wearing other metal rings on the same or adjacent fingers, and remove the ring when handling heavy, hard, or abrasive objects. If your Galaxy Ring doesn't feel like it fits correctly after utilizing the sizing kit to find your perfect size, it may be due to natural finger swelling from temperature changes, activity, or overnight fluid retention. Proper sizing is crucial for accurate health monitoring, as a loose fit can cause gaps in data collection, particularly for sleep tracking, heart rate, and movement. Your Galaxy Ring must fit snugly to ensure the internal sensors maintain constant skin contact. In the last few months I have used it, I have found the data to be choppy. I also have the watch and when I wear the watch the data looks fuller. The sleep O2 data with just the ring is a good 15-20 points less than the watch. It does have good battery life and quite comfortable to wear. Hopefully they improve the software to capture better data in the future.

I was so excited when the new Galaxy ring was released and ordered one right away. It was beautiful in person and appeared to be constructed from high-quality materials. I purchased the correct size after ordering and using the sample sized rings. When I went to set up the ring with Samsung Health and my new Galaxy Fold 6, I found out that I could only track my data on Android phones and could not use an app for IOS devices. I was disappointed at first, but to be fair, each brand tried to limit compatability with their own ecosystem, so I did not mind. The main issue that was the deal breaker was that I received a cheap smart ring on Amazon that used the Qring app for Android and IOS both and tracked all of my data immediately and in great detail but the Samsung Ring device app and Samsung Health app had limited data or none. I was shocked and extremely disappointed because I have been a loyal Samsung customer for decades and purchased a variety of tech devices along with appliances, laptops, monitors, and televisions. I know this is the first attempt by Samsung, but it's not good enough. I returned my ring without any hesitation but was frustrated with all the wasted time spent on the purchase and programming, trouble shooting, and then giving up on it. I share my unbiased review to alert others before they make a purchase they might regret. Congratulations to all the buyers who are completely satisfied with the product.

I like the ring and I find it more comfortable than the Galaxy watch. It does have less options and the sleep tracker doesn't seem be as accurate as my Galaxy watch 5. If you don't like wearing a watch, try the ring. Otherwise, I'd say the money would be better spent on a Galaxy watch. The ring is not worth the amount of $$$ they're asking.

I was really anticipating this ring since it does what every other smart ring does, but without the subscription. It works pretty well, and the battery lasts roughly 7 days, but the issue that ultimately made me return it is how... brittle the device felt and how much it got in the way of exercising. Basically, all you can do with it on is just exercises that don't involve your hands. It's a little sad, really. I had such hopes for it.

I bought this ring because I wanted to try out the difference between wearing the ring and the regular Galaxy Watch to sleep. What I noticed was that the measurements felt a bit inaccurate compared to the watch. In addition, I am not too sure if it's because I am not used to wearing rings, but it felt a bit bulky on my fingers. I wouldn't mind too much about the accuracy, but I couldn't get past the feel of it being too bulky. I did go in-store to test out the ring sizes to find the exact one that would fit perfectly.

Greetings Dave, thank you for taking the opportunity to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your feedback as we strive to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. There are a few things to keep in mind when wearing the Galaxy Ring. For instance, you'll want to ensure that the orientation indicator on the side of the ring is facing towards your palm. Also, make sure the ring fits and there are no gaps between your skin and the ring’s inner surface. This will ensure proper health tracking. It's best to wear the ring on your non-dominant hand to avoid scratching it and avoid wearing metal jewelry on adjacent fingers. Be sure to remove the ring when handling heavy or hard objects and avoid wearing the ring when handling magnets, as these may interrupt the health tracking features. Feel free to check out, "How to set up and wear your Galaxy Ring" if you would like to learn more. For Samsung Health related data errors, please also submit feedback by going to Samsung Health App settings > Contact Us > Error Reports. It was a nice ring for the price but if you have a watch the ring only works when the watch is dead. It also only takes your pulse every fifteen minutes when it is the only device you have on.

Salutations NicoleK, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Ring. We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the design and functionality of our product line, based on feedback like yours. Your Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch complement each other by offering a comprehensive health and fitness tracking experience, with the watch acting as the primary device and the ring filling in gaps when the watch is unavailable or less practical. When worn together, they intelligently share data, with the watch often taking precedence, optimizing battery life for both devices. Feel free to check out, "Track your health by combining the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch" if you're interested in learning more. Do not hesitate to reach out to Support if you would like to share any other feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance after checking our resources out. Thank you for being a faithful Samsung customer. - Debra Samsung

I'm going to be honest, I didn't even get as far as syncing the ring with my phone. I am a Samsung dedicated user. However, I just couldn't get past how cheap this ring felt. So if you are looking for a ring that you don't know that you have on, this is good for you.
