Nice, but needs work

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really anticipating this ring since it does what every other smart ring does, but without the subscription. It works pretty well, and the battery lasts roughly 7 days, but the issue that ultimately made me return it is how... brittle the device felt and how much it got in the way of exercising. Basically, all you can do with it on is just exercises that don't involve your hands. It's a little sad, really. I had such hopes for it.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Believe it has its things to make it go good but other than wearing it on your finger and it's sending data sometimes it feels like it's obscure when you're walking on a treadmill if you're not pumping your arms it doesn't read that you're moving it heart rates off a little bit and I could have spent my money better elsewhere not to say that Best Buy is not the place just different product

There a few limitations that will likely be able to be addressed with future software updates, namely the 02 sat readings overnight have my oxygen levels in the low 70% range.

It measures your temperature, stress level, respirations, and heart beats. The only complaint I would say is that it's just plain. No color or anything.

The durability of the finish was lacking but acceptable I guess. It did start to wear away and a few scratches have happened. The big issue is the battery. The battery life went from charging every five days to now charging twice a day. Still under warranty, Samsung is unable to fix it, so they're offering a Samsung credit. I'm taking the credit, and I'll wait until Samsung releases the next gen ring, hopefully fixing the battery issue. I will miss it until then.

When you are not using the Ring, it is recommended to store it in the charging case. You can fully charge the Ring in about 90 minutes using the charging case. However, when charging for the first time or when the battery is completely drained, it may take at least ten minutes for the Ring to begin working. Actual battery life, charging time, and usage time may vary depending on the Ring’s size, the network environment, personal usage patterns, charging frequency, and other factors. It also fits very comfortable on your finger. The battery life is good too. On the 5th day it was at 42% and I charged it. Also, it seems scratch resistant which is good.
