It helped me not have to guess my size and hope for the best. I tested multiple size ring and ultimately landed on the 9 for my pointer finger on my non-dominant hand.

It did slip once and i almost lost it but once i readjusted the ring it fit perfectly

Relatively Accurate Sizing Guide

While my size is not available yet, my wife felt that the actual ring was tighter than the sizing one. However, the next size up was clearly to big. Just something to keep in mind when purchasing the Ring
