This is an upgrade from my Galaxy S4 purchased in 2014. It is also my first unlocked phone. I love not having all the useless and redundant Samsung bloatware. In store Tech transferred my phone onto my existing AT&T account plus my photos in minutes. This is a beauty of a phone. Great high definition looking screen resolution. Takes beautiful looking photos. I purchased a nice protective case off Amazon as case options are way better than in store offerings. I only have 2 demerits for this phone. If you are a hard core texter (which I am not) this may not be best phone for you as due to the Edge, some characters do not "take" so easily to the touch if you are texting with phone turned side ways. #2 is that on camera, Samsung has eliminated the pencil sketch effect to turn a photo in a drawing. This was my favorite effect ever with my S4, especially for my pet photos. I have added a separate app to do this effect but still do not understand why this effect was chosen for elimination over others. These are my only negatives after using phone for a few weeks. Otherwise, in love with it.

I love this phone. It is exceptionally gorgeous and it is really fast. The quality of photos taken from its camera is excellent. I like that it is unlocked which enables me to use it wherever in the world I am in and whatever network I am on.

Have used phone for a couple of weeks now. Camera is excellent, and features are easy to use. Love the fact it is unlocked and I can shop around for carriers. Also with no bloatware from the major carriers this phone is uncluttered and seems to run faster. My only complaint is durability, but that goes for all phones now. Manufacturers are making the phones so slim and fragile that a screen protector and case is mandatory. This phone is no different, but if you buy the right case and screen protector, this phone can not be beat!

I am a fan of samsung phones and I love android. That is one of the reasons why I chose to buy this phone. First of all, let's talk about the physical aspect of the phone. I love how the speaker is located at the bottom of the phone (not at the back like my old samsung note 4). That way, the sound is not muffled. The weight is nice, not too heavy, not too light. The material is much better compared to my old note 4. I was not a fan of leather like feel of the phone (note 4). The s7 edge feels sophisticated. the screen size is excellent. I like bigger screens because I do lot of stuff on my phone (email, movies etc). I would have preferred it if it was 5.7 inch screen. I haven't found that I use the edge feature as much. I am still getting used to using the galaxy series (since I was so used to the note series). When using the phone, I sometimes find that the edge interferes with how I use it. I am trying to use the phone and I thought it wasn't working but I realized that my hands are pressing on the edge of the screen. A little annoying but when I put a case on it, it improved the way I use the phone. I love the fact that it is waterproof. Definitely comes in handy when you have kids. There are some differences with how the phone works when using a galaxy vs a note. however, nothing that i couldn't adjust to. Overall, it is a great phone. Although I probably would not get an edge series again. Unfortunately the s7 has a smaller screen, otherwise I would have gotten that.

Some highlights: Change settings to save battery power throughout 24 h. Design is really handy. Edge function helpful. Excellent camera with fantastic resolution.... Minus: De-installation of apps and control sometimes difficult to achieve

Faster, excellent display. Not much advantage in getting the Edge except for the slightly bigger screen. The edge features are really not that useful for the extra cost. Battery life is very good and the wireless fast charge feature is convenient and an a worthwhile upgrade on any phone. 32GB is an improvement allowing me to have more apps but could use more (S8 has more). Any less than 32GB, you would have to be selective on what apps you want installed.. Of course, you can move some of the apps over to your SD storage but that is a pain because you have to redo it every time the app upgrades and it gives you only a little bit more room because the complete app does not transfer over. All in all, a better improvement over the previous S series phones, operates better, but app features not that significantly better.

I've owned the S7 Edge for about a month now and I am very happy that I decided to get it.  I use it for personal and business.  It looks very professional, especially with the titanium color.  I use a transparent and thin case so as not too hide the beauty of the phone.  The size is right for my hands and it's comfortable to hold.  It is not wide like the iPhone 6s Plus or the S6 Edge +. The camera takes awesome quality pictures for a phone, and the apps and widgets are great.  The home screen is not limited to the app icons.  You can actually have a memo right on it that you can look at and edit immediately.  This is useful for a task list, a grocery list, etc.  The battery will last a whole day, but I recommend charging it in the middle of the day.  Some apps sort of freeze so you have to close and reopen it to work again.  The Edge screen will limit how you hold the phone, because every now and then you will find yourself touching the edge of the screen and thus affecting whatever you are doing.  The internal storage is limited to 32 GB, so you better add an extra storage.  Lastly, it's expensive.  If you can live with these pros and cons,  this is definitely your smart phone!

This phone's battery life is amazing. One of the best features about it. The rest of the phone is great as well. Very good camera which is what I mainly use it for. I was worried about the edges, but it's actually alright. It does make it more easily to be broken, but I've got a case and I'm careful with it. It does register inadvertent touches a lot though which I hate. I don't use the edge functions at all. But you don't really lose that much of the screen. Pretty much just lose like the scroll bar. And when watching 16:9 videos, the black bars are on the edges which is cool. All in all, it's a great phone. Basically the S7, but bigger pretty much.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. A longer battery life was the main reason that I chose to upgrade my phone. I am impressed by the battery life of this phone compared to the previous model. I can use the phone frequently throughout the day, and it can usually make it though the whole day without needing a charge. I am also happy with the expandable memory and the fact that it is unlocked. Best buy was also great. I ordered online and did in store pickup. I was able to pick it up the next day and they even helped me transfer all of my content over to the new phone.

I was hesitant about the edge because of the price difference to only have the side edge feature to it. However, I went for it anyways and I'm glad I did. I love the edge feature making everything on the phone easily accessible and in one little swipe. Plus the battery life is also great on this phone. As far as the improved camera on this phone, pictures turn out wonderful in comparison so my old S5. I've compared it with my fiance's Iphone and I can honestly say I am very impressed with this phone's peformance with the camera. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Awesome screen, battery life, performance is top notch, smooth, always on display is great. The best part is CAMERA..!!! We compared the photos taken by this phone with other latest phones in the market and picture quality is far better with this S7 edge. It takes awesome low light photos! In fact, there is no comparison! I wanted Wi-Fi calling due to network issues and this unlocked phone has got it. There are tons of features which i never saw on my "Brand only" phone. Happy with my decision of trying S7 Edge.

I kept running out of memory on my Apple product. It became tedious quite fast! Went back to an android & my favorite brand, Samsung. I am so glad I have this with expanded memory and an awesome camera I really use in place of my mediocre DSLR now. I love that I can change everything on this phone at any time to best suit my needs or wants. This phone is fun! My one guilty splurge on my tight budget, but got it on a great sale with a free wireless charger included. The Samsung specialist was wonderful and got everything I wanted off my other phone including ring & alarm tones I had created with garage band, all my iTunes, all my thousands of photos and more. It is so intuitive to use. Samsung just makes sense no difficult learning curve. I like that it is larger than the 5S phone I had as I am aging & have some difficulty viewing small pages of text. I am only slightly disappointed about the sound quality without my headphones. For a large phone it sounds like the volume & bass are much lower than my small 5S Apple. But I don't utilize this phone as my go to music listening device...so I can deal with that okay. All of the rest of this phone is wonderful. It also works with my Samsung TV & Blu-ray. Nice surprise. The edge feature is good for me at night when I glance to see time & alarm or notifications. I don't really use the "edge" function too much during the day, but I'm glad it is there. I would caution you to get a sturdy case & a glass cover for the edge as it does need more protection. I found some really great looking & protective cases on Amazon, the Best Buy store was really picked over. So the case protects from bumps & falls but it is water resistant ( I feel it is waterproof but Samsung doesn't say that). I had an apple phone ruined simply from condensation when I left it overnight in my car. I am free to pick up this phone after washing my hands if it rings without drying off first with no worries or shoot video in the snow or rain; never would I do that with the apple. No regrets here at all. Bye bye Apple, welcome back Samsung!

Bestbuy reduced the price to 419.99$ at one point and I bought this phone right away. Phone is really good and have been using for more than a month now. Battery is good. With normal usage it comes for 24 hours. I am happy with this phone.

This replaced my venerable Galaxy S2. I love the size, weight, speed and memory capacity (w/256 GB SD card). I got a good price with Best Buy "matching". Being "Factory Unlocked" saves me from limitations imposed by carriers even after their unlocking. Best Buy's being local allowed me easily to make some last minute changes. My only complaint is that I'll never catch up with its capabilities

First, buying an unlocked phone is the only way to go if you want to be able to pick any cell phone provider and I believe you should only get a lock phone if the cell phone carrier provides it free of charge. So far I am not a big of a fan of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge edge screen as it seems more of Samsung selling point to separate their phone from everyone else. It makes it much harder to select a good case for the phone and to not block the edge feature you give up some protection from any drops. The fast charger feature, either with the included charger and USB cable or especially the optional wireless charger is a really nice feature and seems to charge the phone much faster then say my previous iphone 6. The wireless charger also means you don't have to plug a cable into the USB every day, which can only prolong the life of the port. The phone has performed without any major problems so far and the camera (rear) takes really great photos. I would advised against using the included Samsung internet app as it doesn't seem to offer any protection from pop-up adds and I had one take over the complete app. I deleted this app and currently use the Chrome app. It is also nice to know the S7 edge is water resistance, though I have not put the phone to the test yet.

When the unlocked S7s went on sale, I decided to upgrade from my trusty S5 to the S7 Edge. My primary reason for choosing the Edge over the regular S7 is the larger screen. Another thing I gained by buying a factory unlocked phone is that there is no carrier bloatware taking up space and slowing things down. Just pop in a SIM card, and you are set to go. My S5 was unlocked quite sometime after purchase so I could use it in the UK, so the carrier loaded items were still there. As a result of starting out unlocked, the S7 boots much faster, and operation is a dream. Also, Samsung makes it very easy to transfer files, contacts, etc., if you already have a Samsung phone. It's a great phone, and it is also a great camera. I used it recently at a concert, and the quality of stills and video was excellent, even with the performers moving about and dim lighting. Battery life is excellent, and recharging is very quick using the accompanying charger. With my S5, I had an extra battery as backup for traveling where there was no access for plugging in a charger. Because of the design of the S7s to maximize its water-resistant capability, this is no longer a good option. To accomplish the backup goal, I found Samsung offers a compact quick charger which works very well and for no more than what a battery would usually cost.
