The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the best phones available. The design, camera, and updated UI are all very nice. Definitely, the infinity display is great for playing videos or showing pictures in full screen display. I went with the Unlocked version so it could be used for any carrier and not have the carrier bloatware. It is true past unlocked phones are slower on the updates but considering everything the phone offers, the wait is fine for me.

We've only had this phone for a week, so this note is to convey an issue encountered. Bought this unlocked phone for use with our Verizon account. Activation took a little effort in-store, but succeeded. Phone functions perfectly, is awesomely fast, and display is wonderful. However, I bought this phone thinking it would be no problem to use during occasional foreign travel. Today, went to add a one-month international plan for the device only to find out the Verizon site was claiming that it was "ineligible" for their international plans. Proceeded to open a chat session, and the support person said that "unlocked phones may not be usable with their intl plans". Initial suggestion was to purchase a separate SIM card in the destination country, but then moments later was offered an option using Verizon Travel Pass ($10/day) to get access. This is precisely the plan that was supposedly NOT available for this phone. I actually wanted the $70/month 100 minute plan, and asked about it. Was told that was not available, but then a minute later, support person said wait a moment, I think I can do that. Eventually that is what I got. Bottom line is that Verizon's website is not friendly to "unlocked" phones, but they seem to be able to extend their international plans anyway if you are willing to spend 1/2 hour in chat or even longer on hold to speak to someone. But at least I dont have to buy a foreign SIM card!

Was using a Samsung Galaxy SII with Ting and started to have issues so decided to pull the plug and get the flashy wiz/bang Galaxy S8. Have to say it is an excellent upgrade and glad I did. Pictures and video look awesome. Apps run well. Still learning about everything but if you want a very good phone would recommend this unit. Would I love it to be cheaper, of course, who wants to pay more for something but it is what it is and would buy again.

The Samsung S8 is a great phone a top notch performer in a stunning tech/art piece to look at. It feels great in the hand even with an Otterbox defender case ,The wireless charging is really good feature though it is not really fast charging, it's still good for overnight use or desktop use while at the office. It has a superb camera. Function great when you have a vehicle that has Android Auto feature built in to it like the Kenwood Excelon ddx9903s. And gets great battery life overall. Highly recommend. Only downside,so far that I can find, is the price. Keep an eye out for promotions and sales to make it worth you hard earned dollars.

Had the Galaxy S4 wanted to upgrade, saw this phone on sale on the BestBuy website at a price I couldn't pass up. This phone is amazing and setup was trouble free at the AT&T store.

I admit, I'm a Samsung/Android fan. I own an iPad only because it was forced on me. It has its uses. But my S8 takes awesome pictures, links every time to my car sound system, It got the 4 stars due to the whole Bixby thing. I hate being forced to use something I don't want.

This replaces my iPhone 5 that died. It is a nice cell phone, but I am not sure it is a vast improvement over the iPhone 5. It does what I need for a cell phone to do (calls, texts, email, camera and apps). Seems to be a bit faster than my old phone and takes better photos. Getting the unlocked version to work on Verizon Wireless took 3 trips to Verizon Wireless and 3 trips to Best Buy to get it activated. Verizon keep saying that it would not work on their network, but finally Best Buy got it to work. If you have an active Verizon SIM card you should not have an issue. The iPhone does not have a SIM card that can be removed.

Fantastic display, super fast, long battery and nice cameras all this makes it as an amazing product

I have gone through so many reviews done by so many people. I personally used Iphone for last 4 years and I wanted to try android. After so many research, I have bought Samsung Galaxy S8 from Best Buy. I was little bit tempted for S8+ but for small hand I have considered S8. But still I prefer s8 more than s8+ because you not only having $100 less price from s8+ but also you are having higher pixel depth in that smaller screen compared to s8+. Screen size isn't a big deal to me as s8 screen size is good enough for me. Also if I want to watch any movies I prefer to use my laptop more than phone. So, s8 is better for me. Also, s8 looks gorgeous and easy to handle. I have heard so many complaints for fingerprint sensor placement for samsung but it seems perfect for me and it works perfect! It takes 0.1s to unlock using either fingerprints or iris. Also, I like tech savy smartphone than Iphone because Iphone might be pricy and it might have good quality product but it's so poor on regard to tech savy android smartphones now a days. Trust me, I love this Samsung Galaxy S8 midnight black. I have ordered jet black samsung cover for me as I prefer jet black than midnight. So far no problem with my phone. Infinity display is so awesome and gorgeous. I don't think even Iphone 8 can bring that superb display with that much resolution. Overall, I love my purchase at Best buy. They gifted me $200 gift card right away which I used to buy fast wireless charger for Samsung Galaxy s8 and it charges really fast. Battery is 3000 mAh for s8 and 3500 mAh for s8+. Good enough to pass whole day before charging it again with full charge. Awesome!

I have the 8+ and the 8 and i loved both! Great battery after heavy usage. Love all of the features and i feel like i keep learning more of it's capabilities. Over all great phone!

My sister received the galaxy s8 I bought it for her last month. She really likes it, she started to discover the camera, she takes it with her where she goes, she is very happy.

I used to be rooting and using custom roms for long time but surprisingly this phone has everything I need and even stuff I wish we had on custom roms, I love the Secure Folder where you can have your files private and won't shown on the gallery app, I love the Irish scanner, the nice display the speed of the phone, multitasking, personalisation of the sound using the headphones, the camera it's so cool, I love this phone overall.

I initially bought the Note 8. I wanted to love it, but it was just too big and bulky. The S8 Edge is so sleek and lightweight. I love the camera and the Edge menu on the side.

It is pleasant to hold, the camera is mindblowing, the screen is crisp and extreme hd. I’m not an android fan (I didn’t buy it for myself) but this phone impressed me a lot !

Works flawless, has the most security options ive seen on a phone, color is gorgeous, look fragile, haven't yet tested on a fall. Speed and other features as expected great

The Samsung S8 is a new-level in cellphones. Upgrading from a S3 to the S8 is a night and day difference. I understand anyone that reads that will think I'm stating the obvious, but it needs to said. I've waited so long to upgrade to a new phone because I just felt there wasn't enough new, groundbreaking technology in cellphones to warrant an upgrade. After seeing the S8 and all its features, I decided it was time. The S8 leaves nothing to be desired and is a complete game-changer in cellphones. I wouldn't call it an upgrade as much as a reimagining. If you're on the fence, bite the bullet and give the S8 a chance.

Long time iPhone user that made the switch and am very happy with the product. Every "major" iPhone breakthrough has been on this phone fr the last year for half the price.

Love the size, camera, and multiple lock options. Fingerprint reader is great. I use my middle finger and it's perfect! So far, it is better than I expected. Great Phone.

This review is for the Nikon 200-500mm zoom lens. I had rented it several times prior to purchase. It is a great lens at a great price. The only negative is it is heavy.

This phone is pretty sleek and fast. I like how it is slimmer than the plus version and can fit in pocket or purse. Best feature is wireless charging and new USB C jack.
