A very sleek design combined with an amazing screen. Overall a great phone. Camera and Video recorder is AMAZING. The AMOLED allows for some amazing battery life with plenty of brightness and picture clarity. Bonus - Water resistance. I negative is the 'Bixby' button... a totally useless piece of s$%t.

The S8 is an excellent device that delivers on almost all aspects a smartphone should. The only issues so far have been some bugs with wifi login on public networks and Bluetooth connectivity to my s2 watch. All issues were resolved with a little effort and now I am loving this phone! The camera on the s8 is phenomenal and works great even in low lighting. Battery life is decent with location, BT, wifi, and an s2 watch all going all day, I still have about 10% or so when I shut it off to charge at night.

I have been using a flip phone forever. I finally gave in and purchased the Samsung S8 since it was on sale with activation and 12 months interest free payments. It's a beautiful phone, with the edition of a wallet type cover is easy to hold without setting Bixby into motion. The virtual keyboard seems small for awkward fingers and takes some getting used to for me anyway, but I'm sure with use, will become second nature. (They set it up for me at Best Buy, which was very much appreciated.) Calls are clear on my end and have been told there are no issues hearing me throughout the conversation. I'm still exploring all the things that are new to me, and have to say within the first week, fell for a pop up claiming that the phone had a virus and needed immediate attention, that led me through a maze of other pop ups-I had to do a factory reset,(btw,after a long process of elimination, the culprit was the samsung internet app) I love the phone, am now prepared for any storm that might knock out the internet, (it's always important to have a way to call for help that I am confident will work-the flip was rarely reliable) and the amazing pictures this camera takes is a bonus

It doesn't get much better than this with phones. This is consumer reports number one phone of 2017. Could do without Bixby, for sure.

This is a great phone. Does everything I need and more. Software just updated to 9 which was a nice surprise. Only real issue I would say on it is mistrust of the curved screen and that it is all glass. Really, do we need a curved glass screen that you can't really protect other than paying a load of money to protect? Why not give us the nice flat phones with great resolution and we can protect well with a case and screen protector. Oh wait, because you would sell less phones due to people breaking them.... Okay never mind. The other downer is the Bixby invasion. Latest update made it even harder to disable and make the Bixby button inoperative. Cannot program button for another function and can't turn off Bixby from opening with it. All you can do is make it so you have to double click the button to open Bixby so at least that is something. Otherwise, plenty happy with the phone. Frequencies it operates with work well. Phone it replaced started loosing connection on wide sections of the highway. This phone is no problem and stays connected.

The graphic is amazing and processor of the phone is fast. Beautiful design and this coral blue is really nice when see it in person.

Fantastic phone. Large screen and the curved screen looks sharp. Battery lasts long long time. Nothing to complain about this phone.

I love all the features of the S8 that I've used so far. After 2 weeks its fast. this may be due to it being an unlocked version and doesn't have all the carrier blot ware. I have been impressed with quality of all the photos and videos I've taken. I may not carry my Nikon SLR as much. After years of using HTC phones I am impressed with this phone.

I've upgraded from a Galaxy S7 to the S8. While the S7 was good, the S8 improves on it in several areas and makes the S7 look like a brick in comparison. The all glass, curved body makes the phone look and feel super slick and thinner even though it has the same thickness as the S7. Glad they replaced the physical home button with a software button that works faster and without any lag. The S8 is a faster phone in every aspect, every operation is a little quicker and smoother. The camera is super fast to start up, focus and take pictures. The battery life seems much improved as well and I can get through the day easily on a single charge. Moving the fingerprint scanner to an awkward position on the back makes the phone harder to unlock when it's laying on a table but the new Iris scanner seems to work well. It's hard to judge any differences in phone quality since the S7 was good already at times. The S8 also supports faster LTE+ data rates that the S7 didn't seem to have. The only downside is that the S8 seems fragile with the all glass body. Make sure you purchase a protective case and don't drop it. Bixbi is an unfinished gimmick. Samsung should have dropped it and lowered the price of the phone instead.

Excellent display. Very comfortable to hold it in hand. Photo and Video quality is really top notch. Got a great deal at Bestbuy!

The galaxy s8 is a terrific phone. Perhaps a little fragile compared to prior versions in the galaxy series, but great performer.

It's an amazing unlocked phone, much faster than the previous model, and i am in love with it's edge Perfect size for small hands

I use both iphone 7 + and s8. S8 is now far better in tech than iphone. iphone only beats it in terms of battery and ease of use.

I really enjoyed my S8 till date and its way better than my expectations. Battery life and display are the best features in it.

Its an absolutely stunning phone. The most beautiful phone ever till date. That does mean you need to be careful with it but with careful hands, its the best!

I love how smooth this phones transitions from screen to screen. The graphics are great! I love taking pictures with the phone.
