I've purchased unlocked Samsung Galaxy phones from Best Buy before and never had any issues with using Verizon features. I purchased this unlocked phone because of the $150 discount However, for some reason this S8 doesn't support the Video Chat feature that has been present in Galaxy's since the S5. I contacted both Verizon and Samsung support and followed instructions from each of them but nothing works to resolve this. I also have been able to have a Verizon "widget" on my home screen to access voicemail w/o having to put in my password each time I check it, but that isn't available either. Unfortunately, I discovered these issues a few days after the return period expired so I'm unable to return it and exchange it for a true Verizon version of the phone. I'm either out the money I've paid or I'll try to sell it.

My galaxy s7 edge broke had to get the s8 its little bit better.

I bought it for my mom as a gift. But I noticed that when I bought the phone through best buy, some of the phone features like the video call doesn't work. I have the same phone I purchased somewhere else and that video call feature is working.

This phone operates very nicely in one hand due to its slender build.

Phone is fine though it's hard to find a case that actually protects the screen. But the location of the fingerprint sensor is something else...why, oh, why would you put it right next to the camera? Smudge, smudge, smudge. Camera is awesome but the smudges have me constantly retaking photos.

Purchased as a pair of 8's for my wife. She loved the color.
