Looks great without a case. Put a Samsung case on it and dropped it off the desk in the first week....shattered screen with a tempered glass screen protector.

Awkward to hold. Fingerprint reader smears camera.

After a week or so I am more frustrated than pleased. It's beautiful but having various problems; i.e.,my gear s2 does not connect. Also having problem getting a 2nd language for keyboard. So far not very happy. Disappointing considering the cost!

I usually love android phones but for some reason my s8 acts up here and there. Does things on its own, selfie camera is blurry all the time. About to take it back to the store.

I really liked my phone until there was an android update which then caused my Samsung Health to stop working. This happened one year and 20 days after I purchased my phone. So I am not happy about this issue.

SMS cannot send video clip on T-mobile network until WiFi is turned off. Production description says this international unlocked model is fully compatible with T-mobile which is not true. Maybe a firmware update will fix it later but who knows.

This phone has a fantastic screen. Really beautiful to use. Interface and usability was clunky though. Bought it primarily to use with Samsung Gear VR. Didn’t work at all with it. Had to wait a week for a software update to resolve the issue.

Bought the S8 and the S8+. Both are strangely tall and narrow, I decided to keep the S8+ because it seemed easier to use with the bigger screen. Samsung is looking more like the Apple products on proportions.

This phone is okay but I do not think the touch screen is as responsive as it should be some times it does not react when I tap on it or try to pull down the menu features menu

The Samsung Galaxy S8. This has been a phone on my wishlist for a while now, and upgrading from a LG K10 is a real change in features. First off, the camera. People have been saying that the camera is no joke, and they're right. This 12MP camera is seriously no joke. The shutter speed is fast, so I barley ever miss a shot. The double-press to launch camera helps with that as well. Like the S7, Slo-Mo is easy to use, and adjustable. The screen is crisp, and the edge barley ever gets in my way. Blacks are black, whites are white, and there is no color wash-out. The haptic feedback for the home button is... good? It's a little unnecessary, but nonetheless cool. The speakers are pretty loud, and I have no trouble with the quiet, low-end level, or placement. One problem people have with the S8 is the fingerprint sensor placement. I, for one, don't have this issue. I think the placement is good, and I can't see it living anywhere else. Really the only gripe that i have with the S8 is the Bixby button. I've used bixby only with the "Hi Bixby!" command, and I've only used it for calling. I think bixby is a little unnecessary, and so is the button dedicated to it. The processor and Type-C charging is a blessing for me, coming from a K10. I see barley any hiccups, and when i do see it, it's from me overloading it from my tests. My experience with fast charging is a great one, as I have no mistakes with it. All in all, this phone will be in my possession for a while.I don't think on replacing this phone anytime soon, especially since I've saved up money to get this phone. The S8 runs a perfect score in my book.

Fingerprint scanner is at the worst spot, always end up touching camera lens. Not as snappy as google pixel xl or iPhone 7. Not worth the money. Looks and feels good to hold

Spent $644.00 on a new s8 phone. But was not allowed to receive later promotion of 100 e gift and remote charger. Good by Best Buy. Would not recommend these people.
