My first galaxy phone was the s5 & ever since then, I've only bought galaxy phones. I've always loved Samsung phones and the galaxy line is no exception. The screen is phenomenal, not too much larger than the s5(which I like) but still has a much better display, and I love the curved edges. One of my favorite things about this phone is how the edges light up while playing music or with notifications, and I really love how long the battery lasts because battery longevity is a high priority on my list. The phone is sleek, technologically advanced, and it just has everything I've ever wanted in a phone.

I love this phone it's currently what I have right now but I never saw it at this price at Best Buy does price is unbelievably low as for the phone this phone is unbelievably awesome I love it as my favorite phone that I've ever had it works great it is super super fast I would definitely take this over an iPhone any day I love this phone and I never saw it at this low price at Best Buy I would definitely buy it again at this price

The Galaxy S8 was probably the first ever Android phone I bought that was better than any of my iPhones. It's fast, the screen is almost perfect (it's very saturated so I'd recommend using the AMOLED Photo mode), the camera is awesome, and the battery life is great. Here are some standout features that I really liked -AKG headphones sounded really good once I played with the EQ -The battery life is much better than what I've gotten on my iPhone 7 -Charging the phone is much faster than what I could get on my iPhone - Tons of customization (It's a little overwhelming, but I love that I feel like I'm in control of everything) Some features I thought were just ok - Bio metrics (Stick to the finger print sensor, Iris Scanning doesn't work well) - Finger Print Sensor placement (It's fine once you get used to it, but having it placed below the camera is a much better idea) - The design (It's very nice looking, but if you drop it, you'll most likely crack it. Plus it gets finger prints very easily) - Samsung Apps/Bixby (Thankfully all this can be fixed by hiding the Samsung apps and using Googles, but I wish you could uninstall them. Samsung's Apps work ok, but I think that the Google apps work better) Then here are bad things about the phone - Speaker sounds good, but is in a bad spot and is quiet. - Software updates are pretty slow (I'm still on Android 8.0.0 with the May security patch) - Samsung's Experience is still a little rough around the edges (it works well, but animations aren't as fluid as on a Pixel or iPhone).

This phone stands head and shoulders above anything else out right now, with the newest Gorilla Glass, the new Snapdragon 835 chipset with the first 1GB modem! Bluetooth 5! The screen and camera are outstanding! AND THIS PHONE WORKS WITH ANY CARRIER! PLUS IT'S CHEAPER THAN CARRIER VERSIONS! AMAZING!

I have read about the s8 and watched the video reviews on it. I love everything about it, the infinite screen, the interface and plus the recent android system, I don't care about the bixby because I use google but overall everything is awesome. I was skeptical at first because I thought it would have accidents like the note 7 did but it really satisfy my expectations. Thank you Samsung for making a great product, keep doing great things.

In the house we still use the S8s with 0 problems so far! Battery is great and perfect pictures. Nothing to say just perfect phone.

Cons first, If u r buying a model that is not ththe latest then expect the warranty to be expired since it's one year from release date. So my new S8 from bestbuy had expired warranty 5 months ago. Trying to deal with Samsung customer service to update warranty but they dont have a good service. Phone itself is 5 stars but goes to 3 stars because no warranty as of the time of my review. Large screen to phone ration thin. Good battery life. Fast. Good camera and audio.

My iPhone 6 started to slow down and I decided to buy Samsung Galaxy S8. I like this phone, it's very functional and hopefully will not have problems in future.

Samsung could have knocked it out of the ballpark with this phone, but they blew it. Don't get me wrong, it's far better than any iPhone put out, but most flagship Android phones have always been way ahead of iPhones. I've had 2 iPhones and they were as functional as a child's toy, (a cheap, poorly built one at that). Which leads me to the first issue I have with the S8. It's incredibly fragile, and they should have used Gorilla Glass on the ENTIRE phone, not just the front half of it. This I found out, within 24 hours of purchasing it. I accidentally dropped it onto the sidewalk, and the back half of the phone's glass shattered, while the front half, which actually is Gorilla Glass, was absolutely unscathed. The glass cracked on the back of the phone just like the two iPhones I previously had. And if the iPhones lack of functionality and poor selection of apps wasn't enough for me, the cheap glass they use that breaks at the drop of a hat was. It's also very aggravating to unlock the phone whenever you want to use it. The iris scanner works about 50-60 percent of the time. The fingerprint reader is the same.....because it's in an awkward position for your finger to reach. As far as the display goes, of course it's way better than an iPhone. What Android phone has a display that isn't? I wish I had an LG G6 to be honest......

Good one but display damaged with in one year of purchase

Never have I ever been able to record 1080p 60FPS videos underwater with a bare-stock phone. Never have I ever had a phone that could fully charge in 60 minutes. Never have I ever owned a phone that could last more than an entire day with one charge while actively using it. Never have I ever owned a phone that has unlocked carrier capabilities that allow me to use this phone with every GSM band in over 100 countries. Never have I ever owned a phone with a unique, beautiful screen design that is also functional (in this case providing an immersive screen-to-peripheral vision experience as well as the Edge utility tab, and with zero notches on the top!). Never have I ever owned a phone that takes pictures comparable to a professional Canon camera. Never have I ever owned a phone that could multitask ten games or apps at once without closing any of them out in the background. Never have I ever gotten a phone with all of these features without having to compromise somewhere, be it price, thickness, battery life, appearances, or reliability. Until I got this phone.

Beautiful, fast, and has Samsung Pay! DIFFERENT THAN OTHER REVIEWERS ARE STATING, I AM RECEIVING TIMELY UPDATES ON THE UNLOCKED VERSION, it's way better than the updates for the S7! So nobody can compare it with the old model. I bought the international model, because I couldn't wait for Best Buy to release it, and I can say for sure that I am loving the phone, I already had the Google Pixel XL, Samsung S7 Edge, etc. This is on a whole another level. I recommend it to everyone!

The infinity display was stylish when this came out and the finger sensor was a nice addition. After having this for a long time, I upgraded to a newer phone, but this was still flawless and resold to someone who needed a phone on FB marketplace.

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S8 for a year and it’s been one of the best phones I’ve had. The phone isn’t bulky which makes it easier to control with one hand. The design is sleek, featuring a screen that fills up almost the entire phone. The screen is one of my favorite parts of the phone. After a year, the Galaxy S8 still runs perfectly. Although, the battery life isn’t as good as it was when I first got the device, but it still lasts me until I get home. Compared to the other galaxy phones I’ve had though, the Galaxy S8 has the best battery life. Overall, I recommend the Samsung Galaxy S8.
