This was purchased as a gift for my mom. Her Nexus 5 was an end of life device, she needed to upgrade. She loves the huge , clear display. Having a Galaxy Tab , the functionality is very familiar to her. She's very happy with her early xmas present.

This is certainly the best Galaxy smart phone to date. The new fingerprint sensor is extremely accurate and having it on the back of the phone makes one handed operation much easier. The loss of the physical buttons on the bottom face of the phone is not so bad since the new soft buttons work very well. My biggest complaint is the Bixby button and software. You cannot disable the Bixby button so the setup interface always pops up when I accidentally hit it. Also, Bixby is integrated into the camera app so it always pops up a notification whenever I go to take a picture. I don't want a personal assistant application so they should let me disable it! All-in-all, it's a great phone. I just wish they let people disable Bixby so they can use the phone the way they want to instead of having some half baked software forced upon them.

Prior to the S8, I had an LG G5 which drowned because of a faulty LifeProof case. Geek Squad issued me an e-gift card to purchase a new phone. Unfortunately, I am still paying for the 24 month lease of the G5 and 6 more months for Geek Squad protection for a phone that no longer exists. The S8 does not qualify for Geek Squad or Verizon protection because it had to be purchased as an unlocked phone. The phone itself is a great device! It's virtually seamless. The rear camera picture quality is above and beyond a class of its own. True battery time has not yet been tested.

Have had this phone for only a few weeks but so far so great, battery life is really good. Love how much screen is used when using the camera and recording.

I am so happy with my new Samsung Galaxy S8. I reviewed other phones but this one had the best features and price. I love that I was able to buy this unlocked phone at Best Buy where I can use my Best Buy Credit Card and get great financing. I was able to add my new phone to my existing carrier with no issues and no new contract! I highly recommend this phone to anyone. Thank you!

Switched to Android after being a LONG time user of IOS. First I tried LG which was a disaster!!! Then i bought the unlocked Samsung Galaxy 8. I Love the Galaxy!! Still learning the Android system, but the phone is wonderful!! Its a mini computer!

I really love this phone, I upgraded from the S5 and this phone, without the bloat of the ATT software it runs fast and the battery life is outstanding!

It is really nice phone. I switched from LG to Samsung. My old phone was slow but the s8 is very fast and easy to use. The camera is very nice and clear.

The phone is great as usual, just nothing new that is really exciting for a standard user. New tech that sounds cool (eye and fingerprint recognition, etc) isn't really necessary, never had an issue with someone stealing my phone. I am sure camera is better but for a normal user looks about the same. Overall, really good phone but as always not worth the $700+.

Got a good price for it, although I could have done better during the 4th of July sale. Heavier than my S4 but screen is not much wider, although longer. Being unlocked, I was able to select a prepaid plan of my choice at a good price. Charges very fast, and I thought the C type charging cable would be a problem but the phone came with an adapter to change the cable from micro USB to type C. You can also buy additional adapters online as well as good C type cables so no worries. As much as phones cost now days, my next phone will be a S12. Happy with the new phone.

Bought the nice blue color phone from the store. It is a perfect match for a high end and relatively cheaper phone. Great camera is a bonus.

This phone Does everything you expected to do . I would not trade this phone for any other phone On the market and it is definitely better than the iPhone 8. I know because I own both phones and the Galaxy is simply better the interface is awesome

The speed of this phone shames my old S5 and no bloatware makes this phone super fast. Transfer of all data took only about an hour via a tether.

The camera is amazing, phone is fast, reliable, and the size is perfect. Was going to spend the extra and buy the plus, but the regular s8 is perfect.

Upgraded from a S5 to a S8. WOW Lighter, Faster, Brighter, Does everything faster. 16 to 64GB of memory is huge. Screen and camera = WOW

This phone looks sleek and feels great! This is the quality that I am used to! It is so easy to transfer all of the data from another phone, in particular, my Samsung Note 2. I am learning to use Bixby -- the voice recognition is a step up!

This phone is amazing. Blazing fast, looks sleek, and is at a decent price point considering the specs. Just get it, you won't regret it. Don't get the glass screen protector think sucks. Look for a liquid film protector they work way better for curved screens. Only complaint with the phone is that it didn't ship with prep. Still waiting for that update

This is the second S8 in the family. Has a great camera and is very easy to use! My wife likes hers as much as I as I like the phone.
