I finally gave up apple ... sick and tired of apple and their restricted Iphone, not to mention their buggy upgrades. I am quite impressed with the samsung 8+, and, as it turns out, I am getting BETTER reception and NO dropped calls (stayed with the same carrier - purchased the phone unlocked). I don't know why the better performance, assume the Samsung is a better product... but I know this ... it works well, screen looks better, and I can talk to it by plugging it into the usb port of my computer- and I don't need I tunes to do it. EXCELLENT !!!!

I purchased this phone for my daughter and she loves it. My son recently purchased one also and was explaining all the features to me. For such a small package it is amazing all the technology that Samsung has incorporated into this phone.

I recently picked up the S8 after using an S7 edge for about a year and half. While the S7 edge is a great phone the S8 is miles ahead in terms of the screen to body ratio, processing speed, and surprisingly battery life. The only aspect of the S7 edge that I miss is the fingerprint scanner on the front of the phone. In order to mitigate this issue on the S8 I have purchased a lifeproof fre case that has an indentation on the back for the fingerprint sensor which makes using the fingerprint sensor easier and also prevents smudges on the camera lense.

The S8 is the best phone in the market so far, I really liked it, it is stunning fast, the screen is the best and the storage is more than enough.

Phone is great overall, battery lasts 1-2 days depending on use. Bixby button was terrible and once I disabled it phone was everything I needed.

I love my new S8. I decided to take advantage of the price drop and pay cash. I love the camera, the features, the design...I love it all.

The Galaxy S8 is a great phone with the norm of what you would expect out of Samsung devices when it comes to the use of high quality parts and superior specs. My only complaint is that the infinity screen takes some getting used to.

I waited a long time to upgrade to this phone and have been very pleased with it. The size is perfect to hold it, the screen is clear, and I love the edge feature. The features of this phone are everything that I would like in a phone.

So far this cell is responsive, intuitive, and has a great camera. I like that Samsung has put the flashlight and a couple of other settings on the top. Two fingers pull down all of the top settings and apps. The quick charge is nice and I like the curved screen. Three reasons why I did not give it 5 stars: I have to keep changing the background on text messages as the phone defaults when I put it in Powersaving mode overnight, I can not change the color of the text bubbles unless I load a different theme, I can't keep the text at a slightly larger font- you have to enlarge the message each time it opens, and even though I'm getting about 24 hours out of the battery. I thought it would be longer as I put my cell on power save overnight.

I got this back in 2019 (because new phones are expensive). I am not an iPhone fan, I love my Samsung and love Android and decided to go with this model and I am not disappointed. Takes great pictures and video. I can work the apps I need to, when I need to and it was compatible to my carrier network. Still works to this day and does the job I need it to. I don't need the latest phone as soon as it comes out. I am more than satisfied.

This is by far away one of if not the best cell phones out there. It was very easy to set up. And I was very easy to transfer photos, messages, and other data easily. The call quality is excellent! I’m very happy with this purchase!

This device is well built, fast, and the screen is the best in the business. The camera takes better pictures than my wife's iPhone 7s plus.

Love the Samsung S8 phone, got the very pretty blue. Great clear pictures with good zoom capabilities. Battery lasts all day with my usage.

Camera is great! Battery is long lasting. Has a lot of memory as well. I'm still learning about it's features but so far I love this phone.

This is a pretty good phone that I got because my S6 became outdated and I hated the old micro-USB cable. I like the new Type-C one because it would break less and I also use it for my Switch. I had to send this phone to Samsung because the SIM-card wasn't registering, but they fixed it simple and for free. After that, it's a pretty good phone. I like the new camera quality over my S6. Other than that, there's nothing really special about this phone. I just use it to communicate through various apps and that's it. This phone is outdated at the time of this review, so I would recommend at least getting the S9 or a newer version instead.

I was a little hesitant about getting a blue phone at first, but with the otter box case you can't see the coloring at all. It was all they had in stock at the time and I didn't feel like waiting. Actually not a bad looking color.
