I originally wanted this phone for the storage and camera,once I got used to how much better it was than Apple devices

I upgraded from an IPhone 7 and switched back to Android. I love the features of my Galaxy 8 and was just bragging yesterday about the phone. I don't like the "traditional" mobile carriers, i.e. Sprint, AT&T and having the ability to purchase the phone I want unlocked made my purchase 1 of my best yet!

This phones delivers what it promises and more, super fast, the design is beautiful and overall... a great smartphone

My new phone is beautiful. It was a great price and easy purchase at best buy. The salesman was super nice.

So far I absolutely love the phone. Has an amazing camera, and it takes 4K video. The Sleek Edge design is awesome.

I was a little afraid to buy a Samsung as I heard a lot of -ve reviews from friends who used Samsung's previous phones, but I am glad I bought this and got rid of my iPhone. So many usable features, amazing camera, amazing display, and so many things worth mentioning. The only slight downside is - it is still not as robust as an iPhone. When I try to copy a lot of pictures from it to my computer, the phone hangs. So, I copy a few at a time. That works perfectly fine for me. I was told that I would like it only for a few months and then will be fed up. It's been 7 months and I am still happy to say to all my Apple fan friends "You should upgrade to Samsung now".

I am hopful that the phone will be pleasing to my wife since that what I bought her for Christmas.We both have the Samsung 3 and she want the lastest Samsung which turn out to be the Samsung eight.

I really like this phone so far. It does everything the manufacture says it will. I'm still discovering new things to do. This phone replaced an old flip-phone which I was happy with for years. The size was more to my liking that the S9, but there no longer is such a thing as "mini" in the Samsung Galaxy product line that I can find. Battery life is middle of the road and it does everything I want/need and more. I'd recommend this to anyone.

The phone is a steal at the current price. Great performance for all tasks with great camera.

My last phone was a Galaxy S4 and it has been a great phone. I looked at the S8 because it had all the features I wanted. Edge to Edge Screen, Bixby, Finger Print security and an excellent camera.

I purchased the S8 because of a claimed 5.8" screen. Unfortunately, while wide, it's not very deep. It's the worst possible combination for a smart phone. In portrait mode, you're left with a narrow screen and a tiny keyboard. In landscape mode while browsing the internet, banners and headers use up all the screen space so you only get a couple of lines of text. The phone itself is thin and slippery. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to round off and polish the edges off of a tiny metal phone. Then they stick a Bixby button right where you put your thumb when you're doing your best to grip the phone. It's the most annoying thing to be trying to answer a call or a text and having that stupid Bixby pop up and interrupt you. Between trying to keep from dropping it and not hitting any buttons, typing a message becomes a race to finish before the phone squirts out of your hands. Performance wise it's fast and the camera is outstanding. I was amazed at how much better my pics came out in the S8 compared to my Motorola. I didn't like the way the keyboard would auto fill erroneously then make it difficult for you to correct it. I am so thankful for best buy's return policy.

I really like this phone. It does everything I need it to. I haven't had any problems out of it so far, and I've had it for a couple months now. The battery life is great, even when I'm on it a lot.

Until now the s8 is working great, the battery is not the best but at least you can charge it in 30 min so I like that. Bixby is still learning, I hope in a near future will be smarter than siri.

The phone i got is unlocked. I can use it with any phone company and the price was great and on sale !!!

This phone honestly does everything. It takes a while to activate it but if you have had any androids or Samsung's before you can install everything pretty fast. The features are all made to personalized. Sound does not compare to other phones like the new LG or iPhones but this could be because of the new water proof features. Screen is great and the camera is great for clear closeups, selfies and landscape and detailed portraits. The phone is fast and simply great!

This is my first ever samsung galaxy phone and I give 5 stars for the speed and camera.

As I said in the title, its a great gift for great price and to give away in this holiday season to the loved ones. BestBuy never disappoints its fans for holidays, it always gives great deals.

This phone is the best I've had so far. I use it for everything, from media to work documents. It's amazing. Only downside is that with so much activity, the battery does drain pretty quickly.

Purchased this unlocked phone so that we wouldn't be tied to a specific carrier. I bought this for my son to use with Tracfone service, but have since switched to TMobile. Quality and functionality of the phone as well as the amount of customization is great. Sound and video quality are excellent. I would recommend keeping this in a sturdy case as the phone is thin and I fear it would crack immediately if dropped.
