Samsung has always been on the cutting edge, I love everything about this phone. My overall review about this product, I would give it a 100 plus and 2 thumbs up!!!!!

Overall Wonderful Phone, Battery Lasts longer. Only drawback is the phone is very slippery.

Everyone knew after the Note 7 debacle, Samsung was going to have to swing for the fences with the Galaxy S8 and let me be the first to tell you they didn't disappoint. I guess if I would have one gripe about the phone, it wouldn't even be about the phone itself. It would be about the screen protector manufacturers and getting one that fits decently on the curved screen. Every one I have peels up on the edges because it doesn't go all the way down. I use the edge panels a lot. Back to the phone though; it is incredible. Very fast phone, the camera is basically the same camera as the GS7 but it has been tweaked a little. This infinity display is unlike anything I've ever seen. I know people like to complain about the fingerprint scanner, but honestly, it doesn't bother me. A case does make it a little easier to differentiate but 6 to one, half dozen the other to me. It's incredibly responsive too. IP68 water resistance is awesome too. This is my first water resistant phone. I do take it in the pool, but immediately dunk it in fresh water when I am done to rinse off any chlorine or salt. Overall it is an excellent phone and I would highly recommend it. I know some people think Samsung should keep it simple and stop trying to chase Apple with all their own applications, but some are actually pretty nice. I actually prefer using Samsung's browser now more than chrome. It just seems like it is much smoother and uses less resources. Overall it is an excellent phone and I would highly recommend it.

I needed a new phone to replace a S3. This is everything I wanted and needed. The only problem is there is so much I'm having to take classes on how to get everything working right. Since Best Buy gives them for free I'm really looking forward to them and learn how to get it together. I love the screen and the feel of the phone in my hand. I love that I was able to get in unlocked so I can use it with any carrier.

This phone is amazing , the camera is great , the battery life is long , and huge screen .

The first time when I saw S8 from my friend, I was so impressed about its design and the full screen. However, after I bought it myself, I don't feel much excitement anymore by holding it... Not sure why.

I upgraded from Samsung Galaxy S3, so of course was very pleased at how much faster it was than the old phone. It comes with an assistant called Bixby, that I haven't found much use for yet. I mostly like the phone, although I expected it to be a bit bigger.

Before the most current versions of the Galaxy or iPhone came out, this phone had the best camera out there! A lot of my friends made fun of me for "green texts" but rest assured they always asked to take group photos using my Galaxy 8! I also love the customization options for everything from fonts to themes to widgets, etc. It really allows you to make the phone your own.

The screen displays vivid colors, the speaker is quite an improvement, still glad they kept the headset jack. Processor seems lightning fast and apps buzz right along.

Perfect in every way. Size, features, quality are exactly what I was looking for. Service and ease purchasing from Best Buy was top notch. I'll be coming back again.

Liked my Samsung Galaxy S8 so much that I bought another one for my wife, in the coral blue color. She loves it and is glad to get a phone with the latest technology.

The Galaxy s8 is a great phone for basically everything, it has a longer stand by battery and a great camera and the picture quality is excellent.

I read an excessive number of reviews online before deciding on this phone. I'd never planned to spend this amount of money on a single phone. I am glad I did. The galaxy s8 is beautiful, responsive, and talented (there are so many things it can do for you). Historically, I've been a stock Android kinda girl so was a bit apprehensive about the skin. Luckily, I've yet to find any included app that I think must be deleted. I don't you Bixby, personal preference for Google Assistant. I don't use the Samsung apps for email or messaging, personal preference for others. Yet, I won't remove the original apps because I may just change my mind, or choose to use different apps for different applications. If the phone continues to perform as it has and nothing goes incredibly wrong with it (like the previous Motorola and it failed digitizer after 9 months of ownership) Samsung will be my new, preferred unlocked phone vendor.

I love this phone. Great resolution. Its fast and simple interface. The only thing i don't like its the earphones. They don't feel comfortable. They hurt my ears.

I like this phone cause of the camera quality and the other gadgets, and plus the edge.

Was time to replace my S5 that was full and laggy due to system updates. Since I prefer to buy outright & don't need the latest & greatest I went with the S8 over the S9 to save a few bucks. Everything seems to work as expected, there is a little learning curve over the older models, but so far it has been a great phone that will hopefully last me as many years as my last Samsung phone.
