This is a completely serviceable phone with zero negative things to note -- except that it's 2 or 3 cycles behind from the latest trends. If that doesn't bother you, this is an excellent phone to own. And the camera and resolution seems extremely clear.

Love this phone. Like a mini computer in your hand. Many easy access apps. Oh, and it makes calls too!

The best phone I've had so far, although my last 4-5 phones have been Samsung. It has many functions that I still do not discover, the apps run very fast, and Bixby is very helpful. Personally, I do not like covers, but this S8 is like a soap bar in your hands. I definitely recommend it.

This is an awesome phone. The screen is spectacular. Works much better than my old Samsung Galaxy S6.

For me it was all about battery life cause I had a LG G flex and would drain battery half day.Iam surprised with battery life of Samsung here after all the huge hardware it give me full day..love the display.My previous Samsung was s3 .Highly recommend due to product quality and best performance.

I loved my S8... I bought it a few months before the S9 came out, used it for about 3 years... I think its performance is still good and competitive even with today's phones (2020)... Great camera, there's really nothing to hate about this phone.

Powerhouse of energy. I was bumping up from a S5 so this phone is magic. It is only limited by the operator and how much time you want to put into learning all the bells and whistles. Samsung tech support is great too. You won't need tech support but I made an idiot move and did.

Best decision I made. I researched alot on the smartphones available and this one is a true winner.

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S5 to the S8, and I couldn't be happier. It does all that I need a phone to do, and more. I would recommend this phone to friends (in fact, I already have!). The camera is wonderful. It is a nice size. And I love the color (Coral Blue).

I had not purchased a new phone in about 8 years ! I was very uneasy about learning to use a new phone... especially one with so many "bells and whistles" !! There was no reason to be uneasy ! This phone is so easy to use and really jam packed with features !! I love it!!

Chose the 8 over the 9 since the price was less . As a iPhone user I think Samsung starting with the 8 and now 9 is a solid match with iPhone. I had the galaxy s7 a few years ago and the fingerprint was not always responsive . Samsung has figured that issue out starting with the 8

I had a Samsung j8 for about 2 years and it’s been so slow and sluggish throughout the entire time Had this for 3 months now and it’s such a giant leap better in quality and still holding on strong Doesn’t look like it’ll slow down any time soon.

It's one of the best phones ever had. Can't compare with older versions, if you want it, take it !!

I upgraded from the S6 and I'm very happy I did. Processor screams and I never have power issues.

Love that the battery ...it lasts so much longer. Love the new slimmer, sleeker size.

only thing is that i paid full price. I ultimately ended up returning it. went back to my iphone.

I had my S4 since they came out. Finally broke down. Decided to get the S8 glad I did,great phone.

Nice to have a long-lasting battery again. Wish the charging port was standard like the S7 instead of the new rounded one that requires a different cord than all our other devices. BestBuy converted us over to the new phone with no Verizon activation charge for the new device - big bonus!.
