Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the Galaxy S8's camera, long battery life, user-friendly interface, and reasonable price point. They appreciate that the phone is unlocked, allowing them to use it with any carrier. Some users find the phone to be fragile and slippery, and dislike the pre-installed software (bloatware).

All around I find that this phone is good. However, due to the curved screen finding a good compatible tempered glass screen protector is difficult.

Great phone and a significant upgrade from my old GS4. I bought an unbranded unlocked phone, however Best Buy did not advise me of two issues: 1) I use At&t as my carrier. My At&t account does not show an actual picture of my phone on the account page as it is not At&t branded. The account picture is grayed out. In retrospect that is not important. What is frustrating is the hours spent sorting out erroneous information offered by Best Buy and At&t as to why there was no picture. 2) Best Buy did not tell me I needed to install At&t's APN in order to enable LTE on the At&t cellular network. At&t installed the APN and now all is well. Best Buy should have been more forthcoming about extra work in getting an unlocked phone up and on the carriers network. Nevertheless, after those frustrations were dealt with the Galaxy S8 is fantastic.

I previously owned an S6 Edge so I am familiar with the Samsung brand. The screen and performance greatly exceed my previous phone. I also love the camera. The design is also very nice aside from the fact that the back and front are almost indistinguishable.

I bought this June of 2019 as an upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime. The difference is astounding-much faster amd smoother interaction! It's worth it if you need more space or a faster phone but don't want to break the bank.

What a great phone. Clear screen, lots of memory and easy to use. Personal Assistant Bixby is easy to use and has a pleasant female voice. My SIM card from Galaxy S4 wouldn't fit in the new phone. I went to Verizon and they installed a new SIM for free.

I went from a Galaxy S5 to this S8 and I am so glad I finally upgraded. Easy to use, fast, reliable, great camera, expandable storage. I am nervous as time passes about not being able to remove the battery, but so far it does not experience any battery issues.

Got this for my Samsung loving wife and she has been very pleased. Lots of gadgets and super functional. Only complaint is the bloatware. The unlocked version was an easy switch on the version. Just pop in SIM call an number and boom activated :-).

If, like me, you want a reasonably compact, speedy phone with good camera under $500, the S8 is a contender. But the fingerprint and face recognition have been useless, forcing me to punch in the passcode constantly. To be fair, I am still learning its many features - and it sure is a big improvement over my old Galaxy A3 (for nearly $300 more!).

Great camera, screen size takes a little getting used to. The width is less than my S5 but the height/length is a little longer. Does not use old Uses USB type C which is different but good. Good part is you don't need to worry about plugging it in right side up since it can go either way. Bad part is all those old cords don't match. Good part #2 it comes with two adapters.

The phone is runs very smoothly and has never hiccuped for me. I don't like the Samsung app such as their calender and dialer app. I have replaced them with the stock Google applications. This phone is covered with glass on the front and back and so is very fragile. I recommend getting a case for it.

I was a little skeptic about changing my phone, then I saw the Galaxy S8 on sale and bought it, I do not regret it. It is a beautiful phone, easy interface, a lot of new functions, with a great price tag. I would absolutely recommend it to every Galaxy lover.

I have been using apple till 2018 I feel Samsung is best in its own way . There is no complex cloud credentials to memorize its easy in Samsung with the edge display and sound is awesome . Overall its best for the price as well as user friendly.
