I purchased this Galaxy S8 to replace my Galaxy S6. Much faster, brighter display, and the battery life is better than the S6 when that phone was new. Since carriers have (including mine, AT&T) have gone to a different purchase model, I decided to purchase the unlocked phone and pay the full price up front. That way, if I decide to change carriers or travel abroad, I'll have more options.

The Samsung S8 has been fabulous! I did lots of research on phones prior to upgrading to this phone. I needed a phone with a quality camera and video for business and pleasure - this phone has not disappointed! The phone functions great, it's fast and user friendly - completely uncomplicated. There were some reviews regarding battery life. Since I knew about these concerns prior to purchasing the phone I have simply brought along different chargers on my hike in case my battery drained. That said, I have not had any problems with the battery life. I normally have to charge my phone in the evening after using it for pictures and video all morning/afternoon but I would have expected that so I'm content with the battery-life. I would highly recommend this phone, especially to anyone looking for an excellent camera and video capability in a phone.

As a senior citizen, I was dreading a new phone and the associated learning curve. I've now had it one week. The small booklet which came with it isn't that useful, but the people at my carrier have been great! I'm liking the new phone features (symbols on the main keyboard which only require a pause on the related letter, and ease of sorting pics, for example). The speed is good, and I like the time and temperature always visable on the screen. Wish the phone came with a better book so I could learn about all of the features independently.

I purchased the phone online, then picked it up at the store. Easy process, seamless transfer of files & contacts, no issues whatsoever. For me, unlocked is the only way to go! My service provider, AT&T, now charges $5 for a SIM card. I gladly paid that small price to be free from all the unnecessary AT&T apps, and to have the freedom to switch carriers whenever I choose to do so.

This is possibly the best phone I've ever owned because it does everything I throw at it without slowing down. The battery lasts all day easily and the hardware is very well done. Updates take a bit longer than I'm used to but they are well polished so I'd rather wait and get a finished product than be a tester. Overall I love it and look forward to owning it a few more years.

I have owned Samsung phones since the first Galaxy phone. Mine was the ATT Captivate. The S8 is awesome. Especially the unlocked US version. Allows me to switch carriers as I need and the phone itself is a work of art. Best Buy had a great price. Thanks

So far Very good Phone, camera and Battery life, screen is supperb, haven't test it all but will review later with more time... the price at 575 its a plus comparing with other competitors

This phone has a great camera and great graphics! The battery life is amazing, I never have to bring a charger anywhere cuz I know my phone won't die! I had an iPhone for years but after this I'm sticking to Samsung for sure! My only complaint is u can't have a screen protector on it. But other than that it is a great phone and I would recommend it to anyone!

I'ts my first phone and i'm quite happy. The size is not small and it's not large like caring around a tablet in your pocket. So far so good I'm still learning all the amazing features it offers. i would recommend this phone to anyone who likes average size and awesome quality. The phone has a nice feel to it looks great with it's glass curved screen. A very professional looking device. I choose to buy a sup-case for the back and a tempered glass screen protector for the front, it doesn't tale away the great job Samsung did on the amazing looking design of the phone! Being new to the smart phone word I'm very pleased with the camera.It takes sharp clean photos and video! Great Phone! Way to go Samsung! A bit pricey but if you save and be patient you will be happy with a well made device!

Best phone with best camera, super fast and alot of storage space

The camera, battery, and everything is great with this phone. I've had crap phones all my life and I can't imagine using anything aside from Samsung now. Black is def the best choice because it's so shiny and fancy.

Bought this just before S9 was released and worth every penny- comparinf to S9 there is not much difference and a great universal unlocked phone. Fast charging and great camera and curved edge- really great looking phone,
