S8 plus was defective kept restarting, went into bestbuy, they exchanged it (fast and easy). Phone is quite nice, excellent camera, definetly superior than the proprietary apple phone.

Bought this phone to upgrade from an S8. I wanted a larger screen and I love it. Like the S8 the S8+ works so well and so fast. And, like I said, I got a larger screen that satisfies me. Much happier now with the screen size. My S8 was unlocked so no bloatware common to branded phones. I use Net10 and all I had to do was switch the sim card and it was up and running. Do to the onboard Apps the data from my S8 was on my new S8+ in just minutes. And it was just were I put it Apps and all. I highly recommend the S8+ it is a great phone. If you are looking at the S8 go the extra few bucks and get the S8+. You will be glad you did.

My last phone was an S7. I can't believe the new features this phone has. I learn something new on it everyday, and it is so easy to use. Samsung hit it out of the park with this one!

Love the phone, camera colors are awesome only downside the screen when Charing the phone too many ads haven't figure out how to get rid of it but is annoying me. Overall good phone and a more solid feel than my previous galaxy phone.

I have used other Android phones but Samsung galaxy s8+ stands apart. The look and feel, features, easy-to-use interface makes it very attractive and powerful. I recommend this phone.

The phone is fast and fluid. The best screen on any phone to date. Look for a new phone as I bought open box and the phone was not right. Returned the phone until a sale comes along.

I had been eyeing the phone for sometime now and jumped at it when Best Buy offered $200 gift card along. There are numerous reviews that sing praise of the S8 plus and I needn't add more. Pros Awesome low light photographs and great selfie camera Split screen - Didn't realise how useful it is till trying one. Iris Scanner - Offsets the fingerprint scanner for unlocking especially since its present in the back Gorgeous screen however some apps do not fill the screen correctly Feels very light Samsung Health can serve as the complete fitness app without need to use Fitbit, etc. Cons Location of fingerprint reader but you get used to it

Very fast. The Infinity screen is gorgeous. Bixby is great but only if someone finds it useful. The thing i don't like about this phone is the dedicated bixby button. Sometimes I accidentally press it wihout meaning to more often than I want. You also can't reassign the button for something else.

Just get this and get used to Android if you are thinking on getting an iPhone, colors are amazing, camera is great, thin and true edge-to-edge display, fast. Pricey, but worth it.

First of all i bought d new Sony 4k phone but returned it after reading alot of rave reviews about the s8+ . Got the s8 for my wife and we are extremely delighted with both phones.

I upgraded from the S7 Edge, which I had not had very long. The Edge is a fine phone, but the thing I liked least about it was the "edge." Texting, etc. was a challenge when trying to type on the edge. This issue is resolved by the S8+ Infinity display. The S8+ is definitely the next generation. It's a beautiful phone and, even though there is a bit of a learning curve v. the Edge, it is easy to operate. In addition, it has improved security with improved fingerprint ID and iris recognition. New features also include Bixby (similar to Siri) as a personal assistant This function is still a work in progress, but it should be an excellent asset.

I pre-ordered this device and received it on June 1st. I currently use it with Sprint and have no issues at all with coverage. It's pretty cool because this device is capable of LTE+ Networks and it takes advantage of them wherever available, like in the Saint Louis market. Overall, the device itself is fluid to use. I actually turned off the Edge feature because I personally found it more annoying than helpful. Games play really well as well as any videos (SlingTV, Netflix, YouTube, etc). The odd ratio is a bit to get used to, but it doesn't really get noticed unless your watching full screen videos or apps that don't resize automatically. I use the fingerprint scanner on this device more than I ever did on the S5, and it's not as much of a problem smudging the camera as you think it would- especially if you have a case on it. Really the only gripe I have is the rear camera only being 12MP whereas the S5 was a 16MP, but overall I think the S8 does provide a clearer and sharper picture. Overall 4/5

Upgraded from the Galaxy S4. I love everything about this phone. It's user friendly, fast, has super-large clear screen, and takes great photos. Like the finger print scanner too.

I upgraded from the Galaxy S6 to this phone and it is simply remarkable how much better the battery life is on this S8+. Night and day difference. Excellent purchase for me.

It feels to cheap for the price! There are better phones out there like Asus 4 pro, Sony Xperia xz1

This phone caused Apple to go back to the drawing board which will delay the next iPhone ......this phone is really at what it does which is everything.most people complain about

I have used this phone for a couple months. Its long lasting battery is a plus, hopefully it will last for a long time. Great camera. Easy to organize the apps for personal use.

Recently purchased the Samsung s8+ to replace my five year old Samsung Note 2. The display is amazing. Battery lasts 24+ hours. Re-charges in 90 minutes. I love this phone!!!

I've been using Nexus and OnePlus phones for years. But I wanted something with high enough resolution that it could substitute for a tablet in case the TSA starts restricting tablets in carry-on. This allows me to read the newspaper with amazing clarity. I'm 65 years old and I can even distinguish content without zooming. (But I only do that when scanning all the articles on a page; I zoom in on each individual article.) Performance is great and Samsung has definitely made their version of Android less annoying than in the past. I'm also thrilled that this phone rapidly recognizes my car and makes the Bluetooth connection rapidly.
