I've been an iPhone user for many years just because my house is Apple and I like the product. I've used Android before and liked it. Apple just does not want the Apple watch to have an always on screen so I opted to go back to Android and I love the S8+. I must be one of the few people that like the fingerprint sensor on the back. It is in a perfect place for me to unlock my phone without having to move the phone up in my hand and bend my thumb all the way down. The location of the home button on the iPhone kept me from getting the bigger iPhone screen. I love the S8+ size. It works well for me. I also enjoy the customization of the Android system. I want to put the icons where I want them. I enjoy not having to have text telling me what the icon is. Overall, the S8+ is a GREAT phone and I recommend it .

I'm so inlove with my Galaxy S8+ unlocked phone.It's a big upgrade for me from Galaxy note 4..I have a smarter phone than the previous one that i have..Plus,i didn't have all the bloatwares from Sprint..I just LOVE everything about it,. :D

I did a thorough research, and this won every challenge. Hands down. Samsung is more durable and reliable with all the best features. I chose a Unlocked phone because it gives me the freedom to use any carrier if I needed to switch.

I love it. It has room to upgrade storage if u want/need. Amazing camera and has very nice processing power. I do miss the 3 buttons at the bottom of the phone, but it looks like all phone now are getting rid of any buttons.

Not to mention that this has very nice camera.Everyone that tried it on my phone were all impressed.Kept asking me"what phone is that?" Most impfoved features. I like the smart phone directory. It will tell you if it's Spam

I came from the Nexus 6 phone. I didn't want to leave the Google phone line, but I was not crazy about the Pixels and at the time I needed to get a phone there were none to be readily bought (Best Buy and Google Play were both out of stock). So I jumped to this because the screen was big and I loved that about the Nexus 6. I basically use the Google apps rather than the Samsung versions, and although Settings are arranged differently by Samsung it's not a problem for me. I am even using the Google Now launcher (although I really like badge counts on the icons in the Samsung launcher). I had a GS3 before the Nexus 6 so I was somewhat familiar with the Samsung face/changes on Android, but it has matured very well since then. Overall The GS8+ is a very good phone.

Timing placed me in a situation where I had to buy a new phone. I miss the Note 7. Samsung should have rolled out the floating s-pen features to all products... That never happened on my factory unlocked phone. Despite many reviews, this phone isn't too big and it's software features make my S7E feel obsolete. The ads do not convey how good of a phone this is. Now that I have enough space to read things on phone again, I'm a bit irked this does not feature an S-Pen digitizer. Bixby would have potential if it worked... Battery lasts as long as my first Note 7. Listening to music while doing yard work is fine too. BestBuy is great but Samsung has provided little incentive to remain brand-loyal and since I trust BestBuy, I'll be watching the competition very closely.

I've owned the phone for about a week now. I am very pleased with the performance. The screen is beautiful and the OS is very fast. Battery life is excellent. Only down side is that the speaker quality is not too good.

this world now is Samsung or apple only so Samsung is cheaper than Apple and with the Black Friday rebates I got it 150 dls less. next, the phone is very light , easy , good physical size , good memory size and maybe the only defect is its sensibility, too sensible In general is very good phone and for the price very recommendable phone..

This phone is much better than my last Samsung. It is very fast and can run multiple apps at once with no lag. The fingerprint sensor on the back is very convenient for unlocking this device. 64gb of storage ensures that you will be able to put all of your apps on it without hitting your limit. It also has an expansion slot for a micro sd in case you need more room. The camera take amazing photos & can be opened quickly with a hotkey. I really like this phone & recommend it for anyone loking to upgrade.

My old and reliable Samsung S3 finally bade goodbye and I was considering an iPhone as a replacement. I searched feedback online on Samsung and iPhone but still on the fence as to what gadget to get. I then came upon an advertisement that BestBuy is the sole retailer who carries Coral Blue Samsung S8 Plus. I checked the item out, felt it on my palm, tinkered it and the deal maker is the discount provided by Bestbuy on the purchase and activation of the item. To add, the salesperson who helped me out was pleasant, courteous, informative and good natured. Samsung S8 Plus is a far cry from my old Samsung S3 on any feature and functionality. It never let me down and surely it'll provide satisfaction on my cellular mobile needs for quite sometime.

This unlocked is awesome. The battery life is impressive, due to not having service carrier's "Bloatware". I am able to use this device with out a charge for a 24 hour period. Granted, I do not use some social media apps, which tends to eat much battery time, due to all the background programs associated with it. I am very satisfied.

Galaxy S8+ is a brilliant phone. Huge screen, super fast and screen is so vibrant. Watching movies really looks amazing. I'm so happy i chose this phone and it's highly recommended if you looking for a new phone.

Been using this phone for just over a week now and it's been fabulous in every way. The Snapdragon 835 is snappy and the camera is phenomenal. I also had the opportunity to test out video in a concert environment and was extremely impressed with how the acoustic mic compensated for clipping - there was absolutely no clipping even with the significant decibel levels. All in all Samsung has done a great job cleaning up touchwiz. There's relatively less bloatware and the battery life is also great.

The S8+ is sleek, well powered and takes beautiful pictures. Thrilled with my purchase. The design is beautiful with glass edges and and glass on the back. However, I suggest getting a Zagg screen cover at the very least. I also purchased a tech21 case as I am a butter fingers. Even with the gorilla glass on the back, I am concerned about breakage. With the case on, the S8+ still fits into my clutch with keys, etc. which is a must. The size of the S8+ is perfect for my aging eyes. It gives me the increase in font size that I need. I do enjoy google assistant that is available at a touch of a button on the cell. I haven't had the time to get Bixby (button on the side of the phone) to work for me yet, but love that I have options. I am not super techie so I don't have tech details other than the cell runs quickly and effectively, and I am able to easily pair with bluetooth. I can comment on how much I love the camera. My camera beats out my husband's iPhone camera by miles. I love the bokeh that I can get with the Samsung S8+ and that my low light pictures come out with the most amazing colors. Some have been concerned about where the fingerprint sensor is placed. I just had to get used to using my pointer finger instead of my thumb and I am careful to place my finger as far left as possible (you can feel the edge of the flash/camera/sensor area) and adjust until my fingerprint is read. It really is quite easy. I think the rear placed fingerprint sensor has been easier to use and more accurate than my past sensors. I also believe I read somewhere that if the camera area accidentally gets smudged that the phone sends you a message. Please do some research on that as I have not smudge my camera and have not seen such message but have heard about it. A friend of mine recently told me that the young, creative types are moving to Samsung. I can understand why. I truly love this phone!

I previously had a Samsung J7. I know..I know. So, this is definitely a huge upgrade for me! I got this as a open-boxed item, which I was a bit hesitant doing so. Glad I didn't hesitate! Phone looked like someone literally bought this phone and closed the box right back. The price was much cheaper than what my carrier was trying to get me to buy/finance for.The color of this phone is beautiful(coral blue). This phone has a lot of cool features such as the tap selfie mode and how you can just wave your hand right to left to do a screen shot. I only gave it 4 stars due to you can't text videos to others without it looking distorted. Not sure that is a phone issue or provider issue. To be continued..Overall, I love my phone!!

Coming from an iPhone, I thought this phone will be hard to use but it's actually not. The UI seems better than Apple's and the overall customization options are so many that it never seems to get boring.

I purchased the S8+ instead of the Note 8 since the additional features i didn't feel like I needed them. The camera is great. Clean, clear pictures. The WIFI swap of info from my old phone worked great. No thanks to the Best Buy employee. The data is reception, sound and options are much better than the moto-z I had.

I was using a Samsung Galaxy S6 for 2.5 years. I've had the S8+ now for about a month. First - be aware - the S8 and S8+ use a new charger (you can't use the older style microUSB - you now use the USB-C type). So you have to buy new charger cords or chargers. I was concerned the phone size might be a little too large, but I can still slip it into either my shirt pocket or my pants pocket without issue. The screen clarity is a great upgrade. There was some initial adjustment to control buttons being different - its just an adjustment. With the USB-C port, I can now use an HDMI cable and connect my phone to a HD-TV for display (will come in handy when travelling and wanting to watch Netflix, etc.).

Loved that this phone was on sale but loved even more that it is unlocked. This was a replacement for my father's Note 5 that was rapidly getting close to it's end of life. I also have the Galaxy 8+ but mine is almost 2 years old and there are some OS differences. For the most part I am able to figure things out on the new one without much difficulty. If you are familiar with the Samsungs then this phone will be very easy to use.
