Like this phone a lot. Good battery life, looks good, curved screen is a bit of a gimmick and makes it hard to find good screen protectors.

Upgraded from Note 4 to Galaxy S8+ and screen size and quality is very comparable. Nothing that is a significant upgrade but it is faster.

I have been using Samsung Galaxy phones since the Note II. Jumped over from iPhone and if Samsung keeps making great phones, I'll be a long time customer. My last phone was a S6, which was good, but the battery life was horrible and was glad to get rid of it. The S8+ is incredible, including the battery life!

Easy to transition to. Really like how much easier to move area in contacts. The pictures taken on the phone are great.

I decided to upgrade from an S7 Edge to the 8 Plus and was unsure if it was worth it... until I had the 8 Plus. Well worth the upgrade from the standpoint of battery life, screen and camera software updates. There are probably many other pros I haven't thought of, but overall very happy with my purchase!

Do not, I repeat, do not get this phone without putting a protective case on it immediately! I did read a few reviews that criticized the fragility of the glass, but though, this won't happen to me. This phone's surfaces are very smooth and extremely slick. It will slide off of everything. Also, I don't think that gorilla glass should be this fragile. My phone slid out of my pocket on to the ground and demolished the screen glass. This phone is only a couple weeks old and now has horrible cracked glass. Samsung doesn't warranty The glass. The protection deductable is 225 dollars. I can have the glass replaced for 125 to 200 dollars. A PROTECTIVE CASE IS CHEAP INSURANCE. YOU SHOULD BUY A CASE IN THE STORE FOR 30 to 50 dollars, and not wait to look around for that perfect case that expresses your uniqueness. I wish I would have never bought this phone! Upgraded from an s4 Active that was dropped on more than a few times, SCRATCHED THE GLASS ONCE, NEVER CRACKED THE GLASS. That being said, using the phone I do like the long battery-life, the software is adequate, processor speed is better than expected, memmory size is good, screen resolution for video and pictures is outstanding.

I've gone through more phones than the average person, so I've dealt with most of them...and this is by far the best phone I've ever handled. Every piece of hardware is top of the line, I haven't been able to find any major issues. I've tried to glitch this phone up on purpose but it never missed a single beat. Even though I hate having to buy all new cables, the USB C connector is way better than the Micro USB insanity of earlier Samsung phones. Only thing that bugs me is the fingerprint scanner being on the back of the phone and not the front...especially with a case, it just makes things slightly awkward. I was a bit worried about pre-ordering a Samsung after their last disaster, but I really couldn't be any happier with the phone overall after using it for a while...well worth the kidney I traded for it.

Use to be a huge Apple fan, then when I found out how amazing Samsung was with Android that was it. A lot of people say Apple ios are simple, but what's more simple that dragging and dropping files from the pc to your phone. It's fast the pictures and videos are amazing, what more can you ask for.

Been getting a new Galaxy every year or so. Have had just about every iteration of the "S" series. This is by far the most advanced, highest resolution and best featured phone I have ever owned. I am super-impressed with the battery life as well. Easy transition form the S7 Edge. Way to go Samsung!

Love the new phone. Very user friendly. Been a Samsung guy for years. I would never go back to iPhone.

Was worried about the curved edges being too fragile but the curve is very slight and my case has a raised top and bottom to protect the screen. Camera is amazing. I don't love the location of the fingerprint scanner but it works.

Overall, the phone has been great! Occasionally it doesn't read my finger print and I have to put my code in to unlock it, but that's usually just after I've left it on for a while or it's running a lot of apps.

I researched a lot of different phones. I was thinking of going to an Apple because my whole family has Apple phones. But when I compared the Samsung galaxy S8 plus I was just impressed. I've never had an iPhone I've always had Samsung and I've always been happy and I am again with this phone.

I dropped my galaxy s6 edge in the lake over the weekend and I wasn't planning on purchasing a new phone but I'm glad I did. I love my new phone. It is a superior phone compared to my old phone. Best Buy was great in assuring me in my purchase. I couldn't be happier. Thank time you Best Buy.

My son wanted a new phone after he had his iPhone 5c. He looked and read many reviews and finally took the plunge to get a galaxy 8s plus. He loves it and got oculus rift for free when we preordered the phone. He is eager waiting for it to come in the mail. So excited and loves his phone

Time for a new phone and the Galaxy 8+ fit what I needed for my personal and professional use.

Upgrade from an s5. Get a good case. Screen is expensive to replace and the back is glass too.
