The S8 plus is an excellent smartphone. The battery life is the best i have had with minimal drainage in standby mode and efficient management while in use. It is fast and easy to use. Recommended.

This is my second Samsung S8+. I traded in my first one for this one. The first one had a problem with the mic. People could not hear me. Even though it had a warranty, I could not be without a phone so I bought this second one, trading in the first. The phone is super fast and has a beautiful screen. The battery lasts at least two days and I use mine as my hotspot. Both were the unlocked version. No crapware, just Samsung stuff even though I am with AT&T. The young lady that helped me transferred everything, and I mean everything from my old phone to the new one. Apps, pictures, contacts, texts, everything. That is the first time I found someone who could do that.

My new, unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8+ is, by far, the best, most "infinitely" amazing smartphone available on the market today! After much deliberation, I decided to purchase the unlocked version of this phone, mainly to avoid the unnecessary carrier-specific bloatware. So far, I can't speak highly enough about my phone. A word of caution to those who may be awaiting the release of the new "flagship" Note 8: the Note 8's screen is only 0.01" larger than the S8+, but the Note's display has less PPI and, not to mention, a smaller battery to fuel a more power-devouring device. While I will concede that the S- Pen is a "Note-worthy" tool to have built in to a device, my Targus stylus does an equally impressive job of writing, drawing, and notating, but my stylus doesn't bulk up my device, nor does it raise the price of the device almost $300 more than what I paid for my S8+. My final verdict remains my preliminary one: the unlocked S8+ is the finest piece of technology on the market to date.

Ok, I bought this S8+ when my LG G6 finally gave out last November. While it has taken a lot of getting use to, it was a very nice phone. Probably the main reason I went with The S8+ is the advertised water resistance. Every phone I have had has lasted at least two years. I did not buy the insurance because of the $150 price tag coupled with the $150 deductible to replace it. (Read the fine print) Well, it would have paid off in my case. I came home from work my wife was working on cleaning the pool and wanted me to clean the strainer. without thinking I bent over to get the strainer and my phone leaps from my pocket into the pool. Where the phone fell was 4 foot deep and it took me about 4 minutes to get it out without jumping in. Samsung advertises 1.5m for 30 minutes. What they do not advertise is water damage is considered user abuse and NOT covered under their warranty. The phone did a great job and aside from feeling duped, of the unlocked phones Best Buy has, this is probably the best one. Because I am stuck with the dead phone. After 4 days in a bag of rice I ventured to open it up as it would not do anything. It was fairly easy to do with some patience but, I was shocked at how much water was still in the phone! It will let water in but, is resistant on letting it out! Drying it out completely still did not help. If I hold the volume down button and power button at the same time it will buzz but, that is it. I will recommend this phone for the camera and speed but, do NOT buy it for water resistance! It has none! I gave it two stars for Samsung not covering what they sell the phone on. Otherwise it would be a 4.5 before letting it get wet.

S8+ very nice. Sleek, functional, expandable memory, great platform. Amazed that I could sync and transfer everything from my old phone to the new phone (incl. apps, pics, etc) Buy the UNLOCKED phone from BestBuy NOW! Don't go for program phones...NOT WORTH IT! Since I already have a phone plan that is decent, I just went to their corporate store and installed the new SIM card and voila! None of the pre-loaded apps or dross from a program phone taking up all the valuable memory space.

I love this phone. It's much faster than my old phone, the S4. I know, I went from a dinosaur to current! This has so many more functions which I am still learning them, and more than double the storage. I do recommend buying a case for it immediately, it is really a thin, slippery phone. My last phone still looks brand new, no scratches, etc., and when I bought the S8+, it just kept sliding out of my hand. So I was reluctant to use it until I got the case to protect it. Minor, I know, but that's me. So, I am about up to date with technology now and happy with it. For the novice, like me, buy with confidence. It's very easy to use.

We absolutely love this device. We think it's Samsung's best mobile device yet. The only issue we've had so far have been intermittent issues syncing Google Contacts. Not sure why it happens but seems to happen once in a while and it when it does, it causes us to lose any recently added contacts.

The edge phone seems to have very limited quality cases, and even more importantly, screen protectors. I would highly suggest that if you currently use an otter box defender series case, and have been thankful that you have, get an s7. Not the edge. They don’t make a good case with a screen protector, and believe me that there are a ton of reviews out there that have broken the screens (some for no apparent reason) and are highly disappointed and upset.

The pictures you can take with this phone are amazing. The quality of the image is impressive. The overall performance has been flawless and baterry life is better than it's predecessors.

Loving my S8+. Big improvement from my Note3. The hand swipe screen capture feature is my latest obsession. Awesome camera!!! Excellent battery life considering my heavy utilization.

Bought 2 of these phones for myself and my fiance. We both love this phone. Huge screen without being to bulky, awesome camera and fast. Works flawlessly with Tmobile and wifi calling.

The fast boot is great, Still the fastest boot on the market. The display is fantastic, no sign of a red or blue hue ( I believe that problem only resides with the exynos variants of the phone). It keeps a wide variety of apps open in the background that use a low amount of ram for the users convenience. With the new SD 835 processor, it is able to handle any game that I throw at it. *Camera*, The camera has improved from the S7, it has a different sensor which makes it able to capture very high speed burst shots, such as a car wheel without motion blare or distortion. Its edge to edge screen image makes the phone appear wider than it really is.

Paired with morphine power pack, this phone is loud , and clear, making it a phone first computer second. The morphine power pack redirect the speakers to the front where it belongs. I like the way that this phone can be customizes , I changed the theme to the one I like. Very fast.

The only drawn back that I have found with this cellphone is the stupid mini adapter you have to attach in order to charge your cellphone with a standard charger connector. This turns into a major problem when you're running out the door and forget the little adapter or the cable wire that came with the phone, otherwise you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CHARGE THE CELLPHONE. This phone DOES NOT come with the same connector as the S5 or S6 or S7.

I'm having fun with this phone...much faster than my hp laptop. I'm using it all the time for everything. Long lasting power too.

I have the unlocked version. It's fast, screen colors and brightness are great, size is comfortable, camera is average for image quality. Two major issues I would take one and a half stars are the edge is too sensitive to the point I constantly have to go back because it accidentally activates something and the second is the stock keyboard only has two languages and no customization. If you want a better keyboard try swiftkey.

The S8 is easily the best phone I've ever owned the camera is great the screen is great the battery life is AMAZING. Even after heavy use I can't kill the battery on this phone.

Although it feels nice and has many neat functions.. its not cheap.. and its not sturdy. Replacing for the second time due to a cracked screen. Both falls were less than 5 feet... and I was using the official Samsung Vue screen. So thank goodness I've bought insurance but now I've paid basically 150% of the price of the phone in less than 6 months.
