Despite initially deciding to skip the Galaxy S8 generation, I ended up getting the Blue Coral GS8+ and I'm loving it! I hesitated because I was using the Galaxy S7 Edge on the 935U Unlocked firmware and it was doing everything I needed it to do without any issues. Battery life was great, it was fast & smooth, the cameras were excellent and reliable, and I had read that the GS8 wasn't a huge upgrade in terms of SOC, screen, camera, and battery life. Although it is true that the change in the design language of the Galaxy S family is the only major change when going from a GS7E to a GS8, I still like the phone very much. I like the new design direction with the Infinity Display, upgraded front camera sensor, slightly improved rear camera, larger 64GB base storage, and comparable battery life to the GS7E. Samsung's UI is getting better and better with every generation and I have no issues with the software. Despite having used Nexus phones for years, I prefer Samsung's UI over Google's spartan "stock Android." I still use and appreciate the phone's IP68 water resistance, Samsung Pay, and the great synergy with my Gear S3 Classic smartwatch. And I'm so happy that Samsung introduced Coral Blue for their Unlocked models as well. If they hadn't, I probably would not have bought a GS8. Because this is the Galaxy S flagship of the year, there are no shortages of great cases and accessories to be found. I've already purchased four cases, a TGSP, some USB-A to USB-C adapters, and a power bank. All in all, this is a great phone with a good balance of everything. Fast & latest-tech SOC (Snapdragon 835), quick-focusing and reliably good cameras, premium-look design with premium in-hand feel, good battery life, and nifty additions such as Samsung Pay, Gear VR, fast wired & wireless charging, and IP68 water resistance. I highly recommend the Galaxy S8+.

Work great takes a while to get use to some of the features on phone I got the plus I find it easier to hold and handle. The battery life on this phone is the best compared to other smart phones I've had in the past just great but you will love it just not to many choices for screen protectors but the phone itself is great. Takes good pictures

Lightning fast, tons of storage, and glass/metal all over. Unlocked for practically any US carrier, so you can even do prepaid if you spent all your money on the phone itself. The finger print scanner is in an usual spot, but once you use the phone for more than 20 minutes, it's not an issue at all, and combined with swipe to view notifications, the extra tall screen is very easy to handle. Great phone with a great battery, it's a great phone all over!

Excellent build quality. With the protective case on is still quite sleek and pocketable. Snappy performance- This latest version of Samsung's "Touchwiz" is very customizable, and key features and adjustments (there are a lot of them) are easily accessible. The print, retina, and face recognition are generally effective, though I prefer the print reader. I found a case, inexpensive and well made, available in several colors, (MikkI-see picture) with partions between the three elements, which makes locating the reader very simple without smudging the camera lens. The wireless charging works great .. and not to forget the camera..it takes extremely nice pictures and video. Somewhat pricey, but with it's feature set, should be a long term investment as phones go, and would highly recommend.

Got the phone during Thanksgiving from BestBuy online at a great price. Delivered early by Best Buy. Great design and options by Samsung. Good support from Samsung+. Selective focus option of camera is sometimes weird, but PRO option helps taking professional type of pictures. I have been using since 1 month, battery lasts more than a day for me.
