First new phone in 2 years, love it. Screen resolution is awesome, great sound. So many features! Only drawback, you really have to tinker with the notifications to get them exactly the way you want them, so that you get the notifications you really want. Had a lot of "phantom notifications" until I went in and set the notifications response app by app. A little annoying, BUT A GREAT PHONE!

This phone is just as fast as the S8. Camera is better with a super slow motion feature. Otherwise it feels the same.

I'm not tech savvy but upgraded from the s6. Battery lasts me two days, picture quality is great. I haven't tried Bixby yet and don't notice too many differences from the s6 besides picture quality, memory and speed.

Samsung phones are fantastic. Data usage is more efficient than iPhones and Camara is dramatically better in low lighting. Waterproofing works great. I don't see a big difference with the galaxy s8 or even with the s7 so if you already own either of these there isn't a need to upgrade unless you are experiencing phone issues. Speakers are a bit better and the Bixby vision that translates written language simply by pointing the camera at a foreign language is cool.

I was a long time user (6 years) of iPhone until my latest phone died after 2 years 3 months. I priced the XR and it seemed no one wanted to offer a deal at all. I noticed the Samsung Galaxy G9 on sale at Bestbuy so I opted to do that. The first few days were strange but now I have a lot of the features figured out. I think I made a great choice. Time will tell.

Best Samsung cellphone purchase to date. nice form factor - not too big to fit in my pocket and good battery life.

I love the color and that the phone is not a bulky as the 7 edge. Easier to hold and pictures are really clear.

This phone was for my wife and she really likes because she went from s5 to s9 nice pictures with easy to use.

This phone has some amazing features. Easily customizable. The camera takes amazing pictures. Excellent battery life.

She still had the S5 and was complaining about phone memory for pictures. Now she has plenty of room and an extremely better camera. Hasn't complained about it at all.
